Dental implants are titanium screws of various shapes and sizes (diameter & length) that are rooted in the jawbone. After they are placed, they then are given time to heal and fuse with the jawbone during a process called osseointegration. Once the posts are securely embedded in the jawbone, a process which will take three to six months, then the dental restoration is placed.
When you need all your teeth replaced, Oaktown Dental is happy to offer patients teeth in a day dental implants using the All-on-4 treatment protocol offered by dental implant manufacturer Nobel Biocare. This state of the art treatment protocol was developed as a way to restore all of your missing teeth by combining current bio-mechanics, 3D computer simulation and clinical research.
Living without your natural teeth is inconvenient, even dentures can cause a great deal of inconvenience to patients. Dentures will never feel or work the same as your natural, original teeth. To fix this problem, Dr. Ahmed provides full mouth rehabilitation services to patients, with implant supported permanent dentures.
Denture implant allow you to smile confidently again and bring back the original function and appearance of your smile. They will enable the wearer to chew and bite the food usually and prevent jawbone deterioration. I been going here for the last 3 years and honestly such a nice staff. The hygienists are so nice and don't hurt you during a cleaning, the doctor is super nice and explains everything so you understand what is going inside that mouth of yours. I am not sure if they accept new patients, but if you know anyone who goes here tell them to put in a referral.

I have been going to Dr. Zahid since he literally started his practice and I can't recommend him enough. He was patient, honest, and open with me from the very beginning of my treatment. He knew I had a lot of anxiety about the dentist and he makes sure that each time I visit, I'm comfortable and relaxed. He does fantastic work and despite lots of dental issues that I have, he always makes sure to give me his best advice and options. What a wonderful dentist and I can't thank him enough!

Dr Ahmed and his entire staff are awesome. The office staff are great with reminders and friendly even during these challenging times. Dr Ahmed keeps up to date on the latest technologies. I appreciate the basic office as more efficient equipment can be purchased and costs for patients can be reduced. Dr Ahmed works gently in your mouth and checks regularly to make sure everything is good. He will not recommend unnecessary work. I had a cleaning and ended up getting a filling and a crown. I rarely write reviews, but I came away from Oaktown Dental feeling so thoroughly cared for by Connie, the hygienist, and Dr Ahmed that I'm writing a review unprompted. Their communication was clear, considerate, honest (not trying to push products or agendas), and supportive rather than shaming.
The building and hallway was surprising old and dim, but their clinic is light, bright, and with the newest technology. Also the online process for first-time clients was very easy.
Highly recommend.

I am not at all satisfied with the teeth cleaning service I received. It was an one hour appointment but they spent the first forty minutes trying to convince me for a more extensive service even when I have made it clear several times that I was aware of my condition and did not need it. As a result, the hygienist only spent 15 minutes on my teeth and, unsurprisingly, did a very sloppy job. After the procedure, stains are still very visible on my front teeth. In the end, I found out they certainly charged for a full dental cleaning for that 15 minute of inadequate service. I will think again if

Dr. Zahid Ahmed is that rare thing: an honest dentist. He actually cares about you as a person, and he won't do unnecessary work. He is also very conservative in his dental approach, which is what you want in a dentist. Look at a ten thousand year old skull and marvel at the site of teeth time can't remove. Don't let a dentist take what time can't but sugar can unless it's absolutely necessary. Dr. Ahmed wants you to keep your teeth not line his pockets at your oral health’s expense. I had an extreme toothache, later finding out I needed another root canal. Dr. Ahmed and his staff got me in quickly, were beyond professional and helpful! I am extremely grateful for them getting me in on short notice during Labor Day weekend. This place is absolutely amazing. Due to financial issues and pure procrastination, I hadn't been to the dentist in years. And it got to the point where the fear or being judged kept me from going even though I got a job with insurance.
Then I found Dr. Ahmed and Oaktown Dental. They're incredibly friendly, NEVER guilt trip or chastise you for anything. If you hate dentists like I do, this is absolutely the place to go. I cannot believe I am saying this, but I never dread appointments with Oaktown Dental.

The dentist and hygienist were nice enough. The front office staff was friendly but I am giving them low points for lack of preventative care advice and unprofessional follow-up. They gave me the wrong phone number in their follow up email, wouldn't return my phone calls, and they canceled my appointment I had scheduled 6months back without giving me an acceptable alternative appt. I also noticed an aggravated crack in my tooth that they didn't catch in the initial exam nor did they provide any advice on prevention of future issues.

I've been in twice. They called me both times about a day before my appointment to see if I could reschedule after having the appointment booked for 6 months. When I couldn't reschedule the 2nd time, I was treated passive aggressively and rudely by the dental hygienist around not being able to change my appointment time since it sounded like she had something going on personally.
That said, Dr. Ahmed is very professional, knowledgeable, and personable. He seems to genuinely care. I would rather continue working with him, but I am considering leaving because of their customer service

I am giving them one star because I was not even seen by the dentist. I had an appointment and when I showed up the day and time of said appointment, I noticed no one was in the office. To be clear, this dentist is housed in a medical building with other dentist offices so I knocked on the door and heard no type of movement inside. I called the office number I had saved and was immediately routed to a customer care center.
