For each service we strive to provide the most compassionate care while implementing evidence based skilled physical therapy. It is our goal to not only help each patient with his or her unique issue, but to educate that person so that he or she understands how to fully overcome their injury and prevent recurrence in the future.

An important part of the treatment plan is family education so that there is carryover in the home, school, and community. There will also be an assessment for any bracing and mobility needs, with the appropriate referral to obtain these devices. Any other recommendations for equipment in the home or school will also be made by the the therapist.
Services
Brinda specializes in infant and toddler development. The most common conditions she treats are torticollis, plagiocephaly, hyptonia, and developmental delays. She also works with parents educating them how to enhance infant and toddler gross motor skills to optimize developmental skills and achieve milestones.
Pediatric Physical Therapy focuses on the treatment and management of children from birth to age 21. Brinda Rathod began working with children almost 15 years ago treating Torticollis and Plagiocephaly, Hypotonia, and focusing on key delays. Working closely with the family and caregivers, she understands that the treatment plan is as much for the family and/or caregivers as it is for the child.
Torticollis is a fairly common condition that affects nearly 1 in 300 newborn babies and can be easily treated with pediatric physical therapy. Derived from Latin roots, torticollis literally means twisted neck and is a condition where the SCM (sternocleidomastoid) muscle becomes shortened or tight.
If you have low back pain or sciatica, you are not alone. At any given time, about 25% of people in the United States report having low back pain within the past 3 months. In most cases, low back pain is mild and disappears on its own. For some people, back pain can return or hang on, leading to a decrease in quality of life or even to disability.
Whiplash is a neck injury due to forceful, rapid back-and-forth movement of the neck, like the cracking of a whip. Whiplash most often occurs during a rear-end auto accident, but the injury can also result from a sports accident, physical abuse or other trauma. Common signs and symptoms of whiplash include neck pain, stiffness and headaches.

We searched for a physical a therapist for our daughter with not much luck for a few weeks. When Brinda called me back I didn’t even need to meet her, I knew I found our person! Her care, concern and knowledge was obvious from a quick chat! When we had our assessment she was everything we were hoping for-kind, compassionate, caring and most of all patient and knowledgeable. She is flexible and truly truly cares about her patients. The office is disinfected between patients and very clean. Our progress is a team effort, she’s advocated with me for everything my daughter needs and I’ve never

I can’t say enough good things about Home Base Physical Therapy. Starting in June 2021 I went in for six weeks or so of therapy for back spasms. I admit I was nervous, as I had never been to PT before and was uncomfortable with the whole idea, plus I don't go to the gym or exercise with others around me. Mike was super easy to work with and reassuring. He not only introduced progressive exercises over the course of my therapy and made sure I understood how to do everything, but also provided instruction in the biology behind why we were doing what we were doing, using “Mr. Bones” as well

I've been in and out of many PT places over the years. I have to say that both Micheal and Brinda are exceedingly pleasant and easy to talk to. They are professional. And very knowledgeable. It was easy to work with Michael to understand what was wrong and what I needed to do to get better. He worked off what I already understand and took the time to educate me. If you're looking for a one on one environment with all of this and PTs who take time (not in and out quickly like some establishments) I highly recommend them. I felt that there was support and a recognizable desire to help me out. I wouldn

Brinda at Home Base PT was fantastic with our daughter. Not only did she provide exercises at her location that helped strengthen my daughters muscles, she also gave us plenty of different activities to do at home so that we were helping from all angles. As a first time mom, I was overwhelmed with the responsibilities of a child combined with the need for PT; Brinda provided support at every session and made sure I was taken care of just as much as my daughter. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for PT services and thank her for all her assistance in getting my daughter the help she

It is so important to find the right physical therapist and I am happy to say that working with Mike at Home Base Physical Therapy was a great experience. He carefully explained all the exercises we worked on, and provided a clear understanding of the purpose behind each exercise. The programs he developed for me were vigorous but always focused on keeping me at the right level of activity based on my injury and ability. In particular, he always had a positive attitude and helped keep my spirits up when I felt as if my progress was slow. As it turned out, the pace and progress of my therapy was

When my daughter was born the pediatrician told us we had to go to PT for her Torticollis. We were given two recommendations and both were horrible- one we had to wait one month to get an appointment and another one was not willing to work with us. We researched Physical Therapist in the area and Home Base came up. When we called we got an appointment with Brinda that week and had a great conversation with Mike on the phone - we had a good feeling we were in the best hands.
The minute we walked into Home Base we were greeted and had such a warm, friendly, and positive atmosphere- we felt right

Brinda was amazing with our 11 month old son. Made us feel really comfortable and at ease. Gave us great tools how to help our son to start crawling. She took her time to evaluate him. She answered all our questions with patience. Michael had a huge improvement after our first session. We can highly recommend her and Home Base Physical therapy place. Thank you Brinda!!

I strongly recommend Brinda if your child is in need of PT services! As a first time mom, I had no idea where to take my 2 month old for his torticollis, but knew that I wanted only the best pediatric physical therapist in the area to treat him. After reading numerous rave reviews from other moms who used Home Base PT, I reached out for a consultation. Even though Brinda informed us that our insurance was not in-network (so we paid out-of-pocket/cash price for every session), it was an easy decision and worth every penny to have our son work with her to correct his condition. Plus, she taught us

Brinda was a pleasure to work with and really helped my daughter learn how to crawl and walk. She spent a lot of time getting to know me and my daughter to help get a better idea of what would work best for my daughter. She explained everything thoroughly and gave me the tools I needed to take to home to continue working with her and I saw amazing progress every week. The office was easy to get to and the PT room is inviting (and very clean) with plenty of toys for little ones. I highly recommend Home Base and would definitely use them again if needed.

I would not hesitate to recommend Home Base to anyone. I've been to a lot of different Physical Therapist throughout my life, none of them are nearly as good as Mike from Home Base. Mike is the smartest guy I've ever dealt with. Mike and Brinda are both masters of their craft, they both bring their own knowledge and specialties to the table, and they work well off each other. What separates Home Base from most physical therapy companies is their investment and care for each patient and that you are with the therapist 1v1 for your entire session. They watch and they engage in your every movement
