Welcome to Before and After School Child Care on Location, Inc. (BASCOL). BASCOL is celebrating over 25 years of providing child care. BASCOL is open before and after school, during school vacations, snow days, and the summer. We are located at 18 sites throughout 8 different school districts in Onondaga County and Oswego County.
BASCOL is dedicated to caring for the children, families and communities we serve. We work hard to incorporate fun and learning into our recreational-based program. BASCOL's staff encourage children to grow to their fullest potential in a safe and nurturing environment. Community outreach projects are encouraged by staff for children to participate in such as can food drives, SPCA donations, writing to members of the military, etc.
BASCOL provides convenient, quality NYS licensed before and after school care at 19 locations in Onondaga and Oswego Counties. The SHO Plus Program accommodates those families who only need child care for school holidays, half days, vacation days, snow days and any other time normal school hours/days are altered.
Children will be greeted and offered a variety of choices such as creative art, cooperative group games, manipulative play, social experiences and the opportunity to enjoy the morning in a relaxed and positive environment. BASCOL also provides a nutritious morning snack. Upon arrival children are greeted and attendance is taken.
There are many days during the school year when regular school hours are altered. That is why BASCOL created the SHO Plus program. SHO Plus is a program that will accommodate those families who only need child care for school holidays, half days, vacation days, snow days and any other time normal school hours/days are altered.

This is our first summer using Bascol and I couldn’t be more impressed. The staff that greet us at the door in the morning and after work are friendly, welcoming, personable and take great pride in their job. My kids come home with lots of fun activities and stories, but most importantly, I know they feel safe. We will be using Bascol for many more summers to come!

My son attends BASCOL after school program and the summer program -we are both so happy with his experiences there! Every day I pick him up he is excited to tell me about his day and the wonderful activities he participated in. The staff are always professional, engaging, and fun! I highly recommend BASCOL :)

They undervalue their employees. Know someone who worked for them and they never considered their input concerning the sites they worked at. They made them do a job that was of a higher position for about three years and they never promoted them or made up the difference in pay. They're just trying to save face and not pay their employees for their dedication to the job or the kids they're trying to help. It caused a lot of stress for them as a result. It's not worth it.

I usually don’t make reviews but I wanted to warn other parents of the harassment me and my children endured while enrolled at LBE bascol by the worker, manager, and director. I had my children enrolled for a year at bascol in that time I was constantly called for minor issues that they blew out of proportion regarding my kids and threatened continuously to kick them out for things they didn’t even do that other children admitted to doing. The worker at LBE threatened my children because they were complaining they were bored and told them that he could find a way to have them kicked out if
