Thank you for visiting the web site of one of Colorado's finest bike, ski, and snowboard rental shops. We have been serving Summit County's guests and locals since 1980. We continue to offer convenient locations, quality goods and services, and a strong commitment to making our customer's ski days memorable.
Pioneer Sports offers the most current rental equipment from six major manufacturers: Icelantic, Rossignol, Salomon, Blizzard, Volkl, & Elan. Bring your own boots = $4 less per package per day. We also have the renowned REAR ENTRY BOOTS new for the 20/21 season! These skis are 75mm under foot making them ideal for easy transitions between turns and best suited for groomed green and blue runs.

This does not cover damage to the equipment caused by neglect or abuse. You are still responsible for the FULL retail value of any lost, misplaced, stolen equipment or damage as the result of negligence.

Pioneer Sports is the areas main provider of Disc Golf. We typically have around a 400 disc selection and multiple employees who compete or throw regularly to help any level of player with great disc suggestions or advice. We also carry bags, minis, and other accessories at both our Frisco and Silverthorne locations.

Really great service. We were handled on an extremely busy day with urgency and the staff was really good at answering both mine and my wife's 'newbie' questions. The equipment was in great condition and sized appropriately according to our seasoned friends we were skiing with.
Returning the equipment went even faster and smoother than picking up.

Thank you. You had gloves for my daughter when we needed them on the fly to Breck ski school. You rented me skis without a reservation and were super nice and efficient setting them up and getting us quickly on our way. You were awesome during turn-in. While I was doing so, I witnessed them fully assemble and install a heavy bike rack for a customer, get multiple parties their bike rentals for the day fast and easily, and thoroughly answer questions in regards to product and services of their own as well as that of other shops/stores.
Very solid and thorough team here. Definitely worth your business.

Went here to purchase a couple of discs, for the disc golf course, and ended up renting a Stand Up Paddleboard. If you get the chance to go by here, be sure to step in and take a look around! The staff member that helped me out was Hanna! She was very patient yet helpful. Very informative and knew her stuff about everything they have to offer! From the bikes, to the S.U.P., and discing equipment. Highly recommend if you are in the summit county area for an amazing experience for all your outdoor sport needs! 10 out of 10, would recommend.
