Founded in 1977, the Appraisal & Real Estate School of Connecticut is recognized as one of the leading real estate schools in the area, all of our courses meet the minimum requirements as set forth by the real estate commission, and Appraisal Commission of Connecticut. Our Principles and Practice courses are conveniently scheduled to meet your needs with classes offered during evening hours, occasional Saturdays and weekdays.

Services
This is the state required 60 hour course you need to submit your application for the Real Estate Salesperson license, This course meets the minimum requirements as set forth by the real estate commission. Our classes are held on a continuously revolving process and meets in Evening classes on Mondays and Wednesdays.
Continuing Education is due on the even-numbered renewal years and must be completed PRIOR to renewing your license in all even-numbered years. Complete 12 Hours of Continuing Education courses from an approved school. If you took the 2016 requirements late, you may NOT apply those courses again toward 2018.

If you're looking to get into real estate, The Appraisal & Real Estate School headed by Chris Farris is definitely your best place to start. Both general and state portions are well covered. The schedule is ongoing, so you can start at any time. Chris is very helpful, knowledgeable and provides many tips on how to study for your test. He definitely knows every aspect of this business. Highly recommend this school.

Chris was an excellent instructor and made class enjoyable. He cut through all of the fluff making sure we knew everything that was important without getting bogged down by the extras. He also has a great sense of humor and made class feel like an enjoyable place to go rather than work. I highly recommend going here as opposed to other schools

The school came recommended from a number of people so I joined and I’m glad I did. The schedule is great and Chris keeps the classes moving and interesting. There were always examples of concepts based on his many years of experience that helped anchor the concepts and material. I was really happy with how thorough the courses were and I was more than prepared for the test. Thoroughly impressed and cannot recommend highly enough.

CT Real Estate and Appraisal School was a comprehensive course that provided the tools I needed to understand the responsibilities of a real estate salesperson. It covered everything that a candidate needs to know to pass the state exam (on the first try!). More importantly, it provided me with a level of knowledge required and the confidence needed to begin a new career in the field.
