Marcela spent her childhood with her family and close family friends in their salon in Miami. After graduating from high school, she went on to become an esthetician and professional makeup artist. While working with Bobbie Brown as a TV and movie makeup artist in Miami and all over the country, she grew her talent into a very successful and rewarding career.

Bluffton Hair Lounge was a great find! José has a terrific personality, is quick and knows his business! My hair was in need of some serious TLC. A friend referred me there, they did a consultation first and did an amazing job! I was very pleased and surprised. It's the best salon I've found since coming to Bluffton. Check it out!

So I was driving from Philly to Florida after life threw me a detour, and went to see my San Francisco Bay Area hair stylist that just moved to Bluffton, South Carolina . She squeezed me in for a hair appointment and after 8 years of being away from her I am blown away that she took up where she left off! Matched color perfectly and improved my cut that had been butchered for 8 years in Philly! I so wish hair stylists moved with you when you have to move! I will be traveling the seven hours from Florida to keep my hair spot on from now on!! Thank you so much Nancy Clark! Don’t worry I will book

I had my hair cut & highlighted with Jose Cristancho. What a fiasco. I had to have a color correction shortly after his svc with another salon due to
bleeding patches and lines showing throughout my whole head. The toner he used produced a very mousy effect and it looked like I had grey hair.
I made contact with him afterward to exhibit the reason for my dissatisfaction. Instead of being apologetic, he said it looked beautiful and he liked what he did, but I was completely appalled. His reaction was very unprofessional.
Save yourself inconvenience & outrage- find a difference colorist.

Nancy Clark is amazing! She took time to work with my curly hair to find the right length and layers, which is hard to get right in this humidity. She has a wealth of knowledge and experience. The salon in general was also lovely - I highly recommend it!

Not only do the stylists and OWNER not listen to the customers when they are not happy with their hair cut / style / bleach and dye, their practices are not hygienic or safe, spilling bleach and toner to the pain and irritation of customers, and just all around RUDE to people who are trying to pay for their services. highly recommend you steer CLEAR of this salon and its terrible owner. no reason to be so blatantly disrespectful of your community members like this.
