The personalized, small group training at PT in the D is unparalleled and has become a vital part of my life. Robert has created a unique and inviting atmosphere that brings people together. The sense of community helps me stay on track and helps me continue to work on being a healthier version of myself. During the pandemic Robert quickly adapted to an online format, which has been a critical part of my accountability during this time. I can't say enough great things about PT in the D... this is not your regular gym. If you're reading this review, just do it!

Robert is extremely knowledgeable and takes a big picture view of health that prioritizes consistency and long term sustainability. This means having a plan that works for your day to day life, which has helped me stay consistent for six years now. No other workout strategy has ever lasted me so long and with such great benefit. Choosing to get started with personal training at the beginning of 2021 was one of the best decisions I have made this year. Sean is a great personal trainer. He gives me workouts that are fun and varied. Every time I leave a session feeling energized, motivated, and accomplished in having completed my workout. Whether I work with Sean one-on-one or in a dual session I have a great workout. If you are someone who wants to work with a personal trainer I highly recommend going to PT in the D.

The trainers, Robert and Sean, keep you on task both in the studio and at home. They has given me awesome feedback and information on how to support my goals outside of our sessions. After working out with PT in the D for about five years now, they still continuously bring new exercises to the workouts, making them interesting and challenging.

I feel lucky that I made the bold move to 1) hire a trainer 2) pick the perfect spot. PT in the D is fabulous, as is my trainer (Sean). If you are anything like me, you've thought about it forever but haven't made a move. Do it. I'm so glad I did. It's super helpful to have someone to motivate me and help me understand how to do certain exercises in the right way. The slightest adjustment in posture makes a massive difference in outcomes. I had no clue. The space is super clean and spacious. I feel great walking out of there every single time. I highly recommend this spot.

I started working out at PT in the D in January, 2018. Robert and Sean have been great to work with in both individual and group sessions. We set initial goals and then developed a workout plan to achieve those goals. This is a fantastic personal training studio located right in the heart of Downtown Detroit. If you're looking for one-on-one training with a thoughtful, caring team of fitness professionals, this is your spot. I have been training with Robert for a couple of years and it has been one of the best things I have done for myself. Robert is a phenomenal trainer who is very attentive, whether in individual or group settings. He is not only concerned with each person's well-being but also participates in and contributes regularly to the community and various organizations. I continue to gain strength, mental focus, motivation and feel a sense of camaraderie with others who regularly train there as well.

Robert is wonderful, he's been such an incredible and supportive trainer. He's one of the many reasons I'm sad to be leaving Detroit. A few friends had been going to Robert and when I mentioned I wanted someone who would help me with strength training and sticking to a routine they highly recommended him.

Every session varies, targeting different muscle groups based on a plan tailored specifically for you. It will be one of the best investments you ever make!

I can't recommend him enough. I started going to Robert after I had my daughter and he helped me get into much better shape than I was in even before I got pregnant. He's very thoughtful about each person's program and is able to adapt to your specific needs. Going to Robert has really made me realize how much more efficient a workout is with a good trainer. I could go to the gym 5 days a week by myself and not see the results that I got with Robert 2 days a week. And, he's a really nice guy.

Robert is a great trainer. A friend referred me to him after I mentioned that my workout routine was stagnating and I wasn't getting the results I wanted. Robert believes in making the most of an hour, with a variety of workout styles and attention to form. I'm feeling myself getting stronger, leaner, and more aware of how to exercise properly. Robert gives me great ideas for workouts on the days that I don't see him - it's a great weekly routine. He's in a very convenient location for anyone working/living in downtown Detroit!
