One of the most important things that you can do after you've been injured in an accident is to seek immediate medical attention even if it was a minor accident. Studies have shown that whiplash and other types of injuries can occur at speeds of ~5 mph, so even though you may not experience pain immediately after an accident you might still be injured.
Physical therapy can provide many benefits if you've been injured in an accident. Regular physical therapy treatments can help speed up recovery time by strengthening muscles and improving range of motion. With physical therapy, you can help your body regain strength and dexterity while reducing the amount of time it takes to get back to your normal life after an accident.
Most people do not consider chiropractic treatments when seeking medical care after being injured in an accident. However, we believe that chiropractic treatments can be a necessary piece of the recovery puzzle, especially if you have sustained whiplash or other injuries affecting your neck or back.
If you've been injured in an accident, your doctor might order an X-ray to help rule out things such as broken bones, dislocated joints, bone fragments, and some other internal injuries.
For certain types of injuries, your doctor may order more advanced imaging procedures, such as a CT (computed tomography) or MRI (magnetic resonance imaging) which can detect harder-to-see injuries like herniated discs, torn tendons, muscle tears, cartilage damage, organ injuries and soft tissue damage that do not show up as well on an X-ray.

When you experience PTSD, anxiety, or depression after an auto accident it can show itself in varying ways. It's important to seek professional medical care if you are experiencing any of these symptoms after an accident. It is possible that you may experience one or more of these symptoms without realizing they are a result of your auto accident so tell your doctor if you have experienced any of these symptoms after an accident.

Fantastic team!
With Felicity as the Physical Therapist she was able to first, identify my doctor-diagnosed tendinitis as something more. Turned out to be a torn tendon requiring surgery. After being cleared to begin rehab again, the team provided excellent in-person treatments and at-home exercises which got me back to work quicker than expected!
My surgeon was so impressed with their work that he asked for their info so he can refer other patients.
PS: don't let the exterior of the office dissuade you... the EXCELLENCE is inside!!

Injury Rehab is awesome! They throughly investigate your injuries to find out how to best help you. I spend nearly 2 hours with paperwork and explaining my injuries . I appreciated that! On my 2nd visit I met with Physical Therapist Nicole. She is excellent. She also investigates your case then, comes with a plan tailor for you. I can't wait to go back again! 😁

I was in an accident in early July, and was referred to this office by my lawyer after having some neck/back injuries. The front desk staff is the best! They have continually bent over backwards to help me get the x-rays, PT, and other care that I needed. Very communicative and professional, and I feel at home walking through the doors for my appointments. Highly recommend them to anyone facing any sort of accident in which you were wronged.
