I filed complaint to the medical board about Dr. Oyakawa recently, however it was over 8 years after Dr. Oyakawa gross neglegence. over the statue of limitation. The board has to close the case but Dr. Oyakawa did lie to me numerous times regarding redo the surgery.
I had very bad experience with Dr. Oyakawa’s cataract surgery and follow-up treatments. He was incompetent, greedy and irresponsible for his surgery.
1. After the initial cataract surgery was done unsuccessfully, Dr. Oyakawa continuously misled me that I could not replace the Crystalens, caused me to lose the opportunity to correct

I don't usually write a comments, but i feel like doing it. I gotta say this doctor is the one of those gifted people who were born to be a doctor. My case is very rare and complicated. I had to go trough numbers of specialists before i found Dr. Oyakava. For years nobody could figure out what is going on with my eyes (even expensive equipment didn't help much) Dr. Oyakava did it ALL( possible and impossible). I would highly recomend him for those people who lost their hope. You might be able to find it again. I else want to say a few words of appreciation to the staff. They all AMAZING and very
