The Crystalens is an intraocular replacement that, unlike a standard lens, doesn't just treat your cataracts but is designed to give you a fuller, more natural range of vision. The Crystalens can reduce or eliminate your dependence on glasses. You probably noticed in your forties that you started to lose some of your up-close vision and had to start wearing reading glasses.

Please avoid this Doctor, worst ophthalmologists in the state. Their prices are ridiculous and they don't even know how to treat their patients. I came to see Dr. Brown to get 2 styes removed and everything went "well" until there were some complications. This doctor will treat you poorly and make you feel like never showing up at his office or ask him any questions and it's not like he has answers anyways. AVOID THIS DOCTOR!!! GO TO DR. SAND (SAND INSTITUTE) she charges less than these people and she really knows her stuff and is very helpful. Dr. Sand genuinely cares about you as a person and

I had a blood vessel break in my eye and Dr Browns office got me in 45 min after I called. I thought I would have to wait but I was in and out within an hour. The doctor checked my eye got me eye drops and I was on my way. The whole staff is very nice and efficient would. I would definitely recommend Dr. Brown to anyone needing an eye doctor I think you will be highly satisfied.

Very nice office, clean, friendly staff. My biggest issue was that I was referred for inflammation in my eyelids and after 2 appts and a very expensive MRI, I wasn't given any answers. When Dr Brown didn't know what I had, he prescribed some antibiotic eyedrops, said very bluntly that my MRI didn't show any tumors (yikes!) and he didn't know what I had so referred me to UCLA. He didn't give any insight, spent very little time with me and very briefly explained my MRI results. I felt he didn't closely examine my eyes...was too brief. I felt these 2 appts, which I had a $60 copay and a $700 MRI out

I've known Dr. Brown for over 26 years and he's always provided excellent service and reliability. It's great seeing his practice expand from a humble partnership into it's own high quality facility. He has taken time off hours to answer my questions related to vision, and he can be reached promptly from his office answering service. I also really like his glasses/frames area just off the waiting room.

Dr. Duran did a very thorough check up and was very patient and knowledgeable. The receptionist is super nice and helpful. I first was greeted by Laura who did a preliminary check before the doctor. Laura treated me with the utmost professionalism and put me at ease. She set the tone for the rest of my exam.

First visited Dr. Brown's office this summer. My experience was great. Receptionists are friendly and helpful. The back office staff is also very patient and kind. I was so happy I booked my entire family and we all were very happy with the service, time and the prices! Dr. Brown was wonderful with my teen today. He joked around and made her feel at ease. She was so happy that she wanted to know when her next appointment was. The office aesthetics are nice and clean and the staff handling the glasses are amazing. My son loved Chris and we look forward to our next visit.

I'm not the type of person that leaves a review.. I just read them.. and I read every single one of them before I went there..
my experience so far: I called them around 11:30AM today and I was referred by my insurance because they are "in network" they were very helpful and provided all the information necessary over the phone for me to make a decision to schedule an appt with them or not.. they accommodated me immediately for an appt at 2:30pm the same day( I called 2 doctors before them and they pushed me for 2 weeks for a free consultation) .. I was seen by a nurse shortly after

My Primary dr. mentioned this place is run as a business and not by a doctor who cares for their patients. I feel like I agreed with his statement, because previously, I ended up getting an expensive allergy test, and an allergy eye drop prescription that did not seem to help. After spending lots of money, I've decided not to come back. And to see a doctor who explains more to help me, to help the patient understand the treatment and process. It seems its easy for a doctor to just blame problems on allergies now a days.

If I would have known that this man had poor bedside manner, I would have never scheduled an appointment. His staff was friendly and professional. But he is so rude!! Comes into the room with an annoyed look on his face as if I was the one who ruined his day. Never smiled. Hey man, you already got my co-pay, the least you could do is smile and be friendly!! He kept rolling his eyes and sighing throughout the whole 6 minutes he was in the room with me. I was scheduled a 3 week follow up, I highly doubt I'll be showing up. DO NOT RECOMMEND AT ALL!

Wish they would give zero's here. Where do I start? The problem here is Dr. Brown who seemingly has the medical assistants do all the work. Took my daughter for an eye exam who had previously been diagnosed at UCLA and knew exactly what kind of lens she would need.
Wanting to provide all the pertinent information to the Dr was beyond a dream since he was merely there less than 3 minutes. He walks in the room once all the work is done by his staff just to merit the fact that he was there and charge the insurance. In which my PPO detailed exams that were never performed and over billed.

The staff at this office is personable and professional in both manner and appearance.
And the office and building is surprisingly upscale for the area. All in all an apparently
positive environment.. Then the PROBLEM would be Dr BROWN. There are too many words
to describe his manner poor attitude and random negativity add to that an incorrect diagnosis ,,,Well.... Let me say this take a pass on this guy After all its yours eyes that are on the line I really dont think that he wants or needs any new patients Stay Away
Dont think he was having a BAD day just seems to be an arrogant
