The owners of Eyeland Optical are the most courteous and pleasant people that I have ever encountered. I first walked into Eyeland Optical over 6 years ago, received an eye exam and purchased 2 pair of T2 Swiss glasses. Over 2 yrs later when I broke the nose bridge to one pair, they repaired it on the spot and refused my money.
I have had to return for minor adjustments and every time they were apologetic for my inconvenience, now both pair of my glasses are perfect. Because of the level of service and quality products they provide, I will be returning to Eyeland Optical for life. Owner Mr. Ted Kim is a miracle worker, specialties in fitting the no-nose-bridge issue that asian facial bone structure.

My brother just moved to LA and the nose pieces on his glasses were digging into his skin. The gentleman adjusted his glasses and really took his time to make sure they were correct. He wouldn't even let me pay for his service even though we had not purchased the glasses there. I will absolutely be returning here when I need my next eye exam and glasses. Thank you!

Very friendly all staffs and carries all most trendy frames with reasonable price. I had a glasses (Tom Ford) broken by other glasses places in Koreatown by replaced the lenses. However, Eyeland Optical fixed it with shined like a brand new glasses. I'm so happy with them with multiple purchased and keep going to here.

I had a pair of frames break two years ago and hadn’t been able to find a pair that I really like since then. Their service was excellent. Ready been back for another pair of glasses. They are my new goto for anything optometry. I'll be honest,, they are not cheap but their service and customer support makes it worth it.

I never leave reviews anywhere really that isn’t food, I’m terrible at it but this experience calls for one! I am so satisfied with my whole experience from start to finish. I haven’t been to a eye dr in 14 years so I was nervous. A friend of mine recommended eyelash because they’re within our insurance network. But usually these places don’t care about the patient or client. I was nervous but don’t be! Billy will make you feel right at home! The dr let’s you know everything step by step. And is very gentle. I was able to get in and out after Billy helped me pick out some frames.

Mr. Kim has been my optician since grade school. My family has followed him from when he was at Koreatown Plaza to when he opened up Eyeland Optical at the mall on Wilshire Blvd. Now he is permanently situated at City Center on 6th street!
I've never picked out my frames. Mr. Kim would pick the perfect frames for my face shape and I always receive compliments from my friends and even from strangers. I just got a new pair of sunglasses and when it was ready, I brought in my other frames that he adjusted for me! You can tell that Mr. Kim loves his craft and he takes pride doing what he does

Wonderful place. I needed my sunglasses repaired and they fixed them free of charge and validated my parking. The customer service is outstanding! Definately recommend Eyeland Optical. I came in on a Monday and the store wasn't crowded; I barely had to wait to see the optometrist to get my eyes examined. I told her (the optometrist) that I was in a rush, to which she responded by working at lightning speed but still making sure to examine everything thoroughly. She was friendly and polite, and I felt extremely comfortable asking her questions while she was working.

I called ahead and asked if we could come in for an eye exam in 10 minutes or so and the guy told us yes. When we got there we waited for about half an hour because the optometrist was busy with someone else which was still OK since we gave very short notice and we browsed for frames.
Their frames are imported from Korea which I appreciate since it tends to fit the "no nose bridge Asian face" quite comfortably and Korean frames are well made and super

I think this was probably one of best eyeglasses shopping experience. The owner is the sweetest man. Friendly , personable and just made me feel so appreciated as a customer . I can see why he's been in business for so long. I would definitely make the drive from oc for the next purchase. Oh and he's able to make the bridge for all glasses to pretty much make all glasses "Asian-fit".

My parents have been long time clients of Eyeland Optical situated in Koreatown. As I rarely have business to do in Wilshire Center, I wasn't aware of who their preferred opticians were. I already had a prescription completed with my primary optometry, but wanted to take some time to find the right eye wear that are designed to fit my face and nose bridge due to my ethnic background. Boyfriend got Ferragamo sunglasses for only 300.
Clearly they're not trying to rip people off like sunglass hut.
Def will be back for a pair of gold cartiers I saw for a 1000 :-/

I called to make a same day appointment, they told me I could just go ahead and show up today. I needed new contacts and a new prescription as soon as possible because I am heading to New York for the nyc marathon and did not want to run with glasses on.
The doctor was amazing and the staff was really welcoming and friendly. She even gave me several samples for my night runs and early morning runs to try. She switched me to a different brand of contacts and so far they're everything she promised.
They have a great selections of glasses, I will be coming back and also swapping out my prescription

Went in to see if they could install nose pads on to my Ray-Ban sunglasses. I had called around and other places had quoted me $40-50 to install them. They were able to do it in an hour and only for $20!
While I was waiting to pick it up they also offered to clean the glasses that I was wearing. Jeez such friendly and great service! I will definitely be back to get my all my glasses needs here.
They also validate parking for 3 hours.

We walked in on a Saturday and we didn't wait long. The eye doctor was super nice and gentle. I got an eye exam and contact exam. She also gave me samples of contact lenses. There's a $100 deal for eye exam, prescription lens, and frame (mostly plastic). For me, I wanted to get circular metal frames which costly $20 more. So I got my glasses for $120 and got 6 months color contact lenses for $120 so a total of $240. They basically didn't charge me for the contact exam!

I was around the area and came here on a whim around Saturday afternoon hoping if they had time for an eye exam. Luckily, they immediately sat me down and went to work! The optometrist did an in-depth exam on my eyes and gave me a few samples to use for my extremely dry eyes. The man who helped me after (I wish I knew his name!) was so helpful and nice! He suggested that I should probably get glasses to wear instead of my contacts all the time. I was a little hesitant if I wanted to get one that day but he wasn't pushy at all and told me to just look around and think about it next time I come
