Services
Go To Ortho is an immediate care clinic focused on injuries, the first of its kind in the Portland area.

As Dr. Steve Madey, one of the partners and a specialist in hand and microvascular surgery, explains, "We've noticed through the years a lot of cases come to us that didn't necessarily need to go through the traditional ER setting, so we thought it would be easier for people without limb-threatening, life-threatening problems to have direct access, to not wait and go through the hoops of a large institution."
At Go To Ortho, all of our surgeons are board-certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery (ABOS). ABOS Certification demonstrates an Orthopaedic Surgeon's attainment to high standards for education, knowledge, experience, and skills. Collectively, we have over 50 years of experience dealing with trauma injuries in the Portland area, and our surgeons have privileges at all the major hospitals in Portland, including some surgery centers.
This notice from Go To Ortho describes how medical information about you may be used and disclosed, and how you can get access to this information: HIPAA Notice. Title I protects health insurance coverage for workers and their families when they change or lose their jobs. Title II addresses the security and privacy of health data.
The carpal tunnel is a narrow, rigid passageway of ligament and bones at the base of the hand that houses the median nerve and the tendons that bend the fingers. The median nerve provides feeling to the palm side of the thumb and to the index, middle, and part of the ring fingers, but not the little (pinky) finger.
A dislocation is an injury to a joint, a place where two or more bones come together in which the ends of your bones are forced from their normal positions. This painful injury temporarily deforms and immobilizes your joint. A dislocation is usually the result of a fall or a blow, or sometimes from playing a contact sport, such as basketball, hockey, and football.

Went for horrible shoulder pain... no appointment needed, walked right in, waited maybe 10 minutes, took me straight to xray and then in to be examined by the doctor, got a cortisone shot, pain was gone in about an hour. In and out in less than 30 minutes. A refreshing experience. Great place for quick, professional treatment!

My experience has been positive from the beginning. I came in with a fractured wrist. The staff was friendly and helpful. I was seen quickly and scheduled for out patient surgery to secure my radius. The procedure went well and I felt well cared for throughout. My wrist is mending nicely and with advice from the physical therapist I am regaining motion and strength daily. I feel very thankful to have been referred to Go To Ortho by Oregon City Legacy Urgent Care.

My visit for x-ray/check up went well and quick. The staffs are helpful and even push your wheelchair for you. The wait time was ok considering it was a bit busy on my appointment day.
