Dandelion Bakery's Owner/Pastry Chef Gabby Watson has a vision to bring a bakery into Sykesville with both old school classics and new modern favorites. Gabby has been around the restaurant industry her whole life, growing up running around the kitchen of the old Crab Shanty. Being allowed to help make simple little things like brownies is what started her baking journey.
From there she was always baking for friends, family, even school projects. Gabby got her associates degree in baking and pastry at the Culinary Institute of America, after graduation is when she helped her family open Dandelion Bistro. Since growing up in Sykesville, Gabby was ecstatic when she was given the opportunity to open her own bakery up on Main Street in Downtown Sykesville.

Really great donuts! They are a unique dough with a unique taste. Some are filled in the middle and others aren’t. Would recommend if you are looking for a unique experience with diversity of taste. These are the donuts they had available today and which are pictured in my photo:
1) Regular Glazed (no filling)
2) Cinnamon Sugar (no filling)
3) Blueberry Cheesecake (had filling and happened to be my favorite)
4) Goat Cheese (filling)
5) Key Lime (filling)
