Little Boy Bakery is a home bakery located in Howard County, Maryland. Our kitchen is located in Elkridge; our pick up location is at 10555 Guilford Rd. Ste 115, Jessup, MD. While we are small, our desserts speak loudly with bold flavor, consistent texture, and creative innovation. Our specialties include French-style pastries i.e.
Note: Anytime Menu is available for pick-up during business hours without pre-ordering. Other pastries, whole pies/tarts, and cakes must be pre-ordered at least 2 days in advance. We generally have available all items listed in Anytime Menu, Special Diet Menu, and several other pastries on a rotating basis.

I planned on ordering a display cake and cupcakes for my wedding. Unlike other places i had to pay for my tasting (which is just me ordering more cupcakes from them to try the flavors). In my experience other places only charge unless i decide to purchase with them. We ordered half a dozen cupcakes to try but honestly was disappointed with the quality and flavors. As mentioned in a previous review the buttercream frostings all had a very buttery almost greasy after taste. This place is INCREDIBLE for custom made gluten free, call or Instagram them @littleboybakerymd ... I got a Lemon Meringue Pie that was SO BEYOND AMAZING. When I went to pick up the owner brought it out to me in my car (with gloves and a facemask) and we got talking, he is a trained pastry chef and it shows! He also gave me a lemon blueberry bread loaf to try which didn't even make it home before I took a bite, absolutely LOVE. Bonus: all ingredients listed on label

Products are delicious! They are at our Sunday morning farmers market, and they are always delightful with their infectious enthusiasm. I almost always pick up one or two chocolate gluten-free items. We also enjoy their variety box with chocolate and/or almond croissants, fruit-filled turnovers and more. The goods are not overly sweet, which we love. They are just sweet enough to enjoy. I think the chocolate croissant is really flavorful and delicious, but the gluten-free chocolate loaf is up there too. Oh, I can't decide!

We've had the fruit tart, the cookies (highly recommend fat cookies!), the croissants and other specialty treats and each one is soooooooo eye roll good! I had a huge craving for a Paris Brest so I ordered three (hazelnut, coffee, and chestnut) and I was absolutely blown away with how good they were My husband who's not a big sweets fan can't get enough of their cookies and I constantly daydream of their cinnamon sugar croissants- I highly recommend them for your next sweet fix!

Found Little Boy Bakery in the weekly farmers market at UMD and I couldnt stop going back for more! Their macarons are so good! The fillings are fluffier compared to the usual macarons and I can honestly say I cant eat usual ones anymore without missing the ones from LBB. Another weekly cravings is their apple tart, it has the perfect amount of sweetness and goes great with coffee in the morning.
We recently tried their creme brulee cheesecake and it was one of the best cheesecakes I ever had!

This is for the stand at the Maple Lawn Farmers Market. I got one of each croissant (almond, chestnut, and chocolate) and oatmeal cranberry cookies. The croissants were thoroughly disappointing. They were dense and bready - everything a croissant shouldn't be. They had a lot of filling, a whole lot, far more than I've encountered in a croissant before, but it was mediocre. I threw all three out after a couple of bites. I love a good croissant, but I can't find one around here now that Vanilla Desserterie closed.

Our favorite macaron, definitely worth seeking out. Not your standard macaron, these are unique macarons that have been thoughtfully and creatively reimagined by a master baker who cares about his craft. Fantastic flavors and textures, and many flavors are gluten-free. Looking forward to trying more of Little Boy Bakery’s creations.

Bought small macarons $2.75 per each. The worst macaron I’ve ever had. It looks pretty with marble swirl and the cream is okay. But the cookie side was disastrous too hard so i felt they sold old macarons from at least a week ago. Very disappointed i bought 4 of them because it was buy 3 get one free, hoping there should be a fresh one but there wasn’t. I couldnt finish them all so toss them to trash can.

We stumbled upon Little Boy Bakery at maple lawn farmers market on Saturday.
We wanted a small pastry for breakfast and got chocolate ganache croissant and almond croissant. They were SO good. Usually croissants are light/flaky and pretty hollow inside, but these ones were light and buttery, but dense! Super generous amount of chocolate ganache places inside too. We couldn't stop talking about how good these croissants were!
I can't wait to try out some other goodies from here. I definitely recommend the croissants!

We got 2 of every macaroon here and if you didn't notice, some pictures are missing...I couldn't help it, they were so good. I want to start off with the good but first a disclaimer. I was able to buy them at a grocery store in Maryland. They set up a tent outside the store and sell them! I got their classic, almond and chocolate croissants. It was absolutely mesmerizing!! I tried to cold and heated up in microwave and they were great with coffee in the morning!

I was looking for a cake that's not too sweet for my mother-in-law's birthday and ended up ordering Matcha blueberry whipped cake. Heard it was absolutely on-point. It didn't feel like a manufactured cake and more so a homemade cake with all the flavors you can imagine. I'll definitely go back and try other menus!

Get yo desserts from Little Boy Bakery ASAP! Especially if you love matcha! I came across LBB on Yelp and the reviews definitely speak the truth! I really wanted to get a small "naked" matcha cake for an event, and was so excited to find a bakery close by that could make one. I submitted a request by email, and they were very quick to respond. At the time, I couldn't taste a sample of the matcha cake, but I was able to stop and try one of their macarons. Let me say that the macaron was one of the best that I've had because it just melts in your mouth.

They have the BEST biscotti ever, it's a MUST. It's not too hard and not too sweet. It's vegan so I dont feel guilty eating the whole bag. Since they use almond flours, it does give you some nutty taste and I love it. Their peach pie was amazing, perfect amount of cinnamon and don't get me started on their pie crusts. Love!! i ordered a birthday cake for my friend and just told the baker what flavors she likes and he made it custom specifically for her! loved the combo of chocolate, raspberry, and coffee whipped cream. loved how light it was and how it was not super sweet.
he also gave us some biscotti to try and was super surprised to find out it was vegan (no butter!).. super delicious yet still light! made me feel less guilty about eating biscotti lol.. boyfriend also LOVED it with his morning cup of coffee.

We found Little Boy bakery through one of the local farmer's markets. They're great people and clearly know what they're doing.
I never thought I'd be so excited about an apple pie. The attention to detail on this was amazing and the crust (the crust!) was the best part. The filling was luxuriously flavorful without being overly-sweet and still keeping the patently "apple" flavor expected of such a pie. We made a whipped cream to go along with it and had the leftovers for breakfast the next day.
And the macarons! Try the macarons if you ever get the chance. Every

Ordered the raspberry cheesecake and I have never had a cheesecake like this before... The top was a delicious creme brulee and the bottom had a nice crunchy texture. I usually find cheesecakes to be too sweet and after a few bites they get a bit sickening. However, this cheesecake was just the right amount of sweetness. The texture of the cake was rich but not too heavy. Will be ordering the Oreo cheesecake next! I can't wait!!
