Ellison's Towing is currently owned and operated by Mr. Ellison's daughter, Cheri Ellison-Carroll, and her husband, Brent Carroll. Together they have won a Pioneer Award, Golden Heart Award and AAA's Gold, Silver, and Bronze Service Provider of Excellence Awards. The Ellison family has been serving its community for more than 80 years, since Earl Ellison, Sr. opened downtown Palo Alto's first auto body repair shop.
Auctions are held approximately once a month at Ellison's Towing in Mountain View, CA. You will find great deals on everything from fixer-uppers to very good low-mileage vehicles, as well as lien sale cars for every budget. Our auctions typically contain 10-15 vehicles and you will easily find models such as Honda, Toyota, Mazda, Chevy and Ford.

I've had to use AAA a few times this year, and each call was serviced from Ellison's Towing. Every driver was top notch in terms or service, friendliness, and extremely competent. Whether it was a tow or battery replacement they always went above and beyond to help and provide guidance to get my car back on the road. It's a pleasure to see an Ellison's truck pull up when you're stuck!

This is the nicest and coolest towing company ever. They came to my aid several times when I had battery issues through by my AAA membership I remember when their shop was in Palo Alto my uncle used to work for them as a mechanic. Their customer service is really friendly and I highly recommend Ellisons.

I hit a middle divider and got a flat tire. AAA dispatched this company to my location with an ETA of 85 minutes. When the ETA expired, I called this company and they said to get in touch with AAA. Then I called AAA and they said the driver forgot to bring a compressor. Later they canceled the service request without any communication with me. Then the next day this company sends me a text asking me how the service was. I was stuck in my car for three hours and had to call emergency towing who helped to tow my car to my home.

Very professional business. My car was accidentally damaged while they were towing a car next to mine. The driver left their business card for me and when I called a few days later, they took care of everything for repair and my car now looks as before. I encourage doing bossiness with them.

I didn't call them directly. However, I got a free service (not a tow) through AAA because of two flat rear tires a couple of weeks ago. It was time to replace my tires anyway.
That's what happens when your brother ships five heavy boxes full of dumb crap like heavy music speakers and other insanely heavy stuff to you from South Korea before returning to the SFBA. You put those heavy boxes in your car and the next thing that happens: the rear tires go flat for the first time ever.
Ciano Mendoza arrived promptly, checked my flat tires, and fixed them in just a couple of minutes

My car broke down tonight just as it was getting dark. I called AAA, they contacted Ellison's Towing and they sent the most amazing person to come to my rescue!
His name was Tevita!
He arrived quickly! He was calm and pleasant and despite the fact that he had already been working all day, he was patient and took his time figuring out what was wrong with my car. He showed me the diagnostics and determined that I needed a new battery.
He installed a new battery and made sure that everything was working properly before he left on his next call!
He was the perfect example of the person

The reviews are accurate, these guys rock! Needed a tow and they were there in 20 minutes. Super professional and polite. I spoke to Nada. Payment is a bit weird in that they do not take credit cards over the phone, but instead send a text to your phone from a third party, with a 3% adder. Worked out fine and still well worth it. Thanks for the great service!

Highly recommend Ellisons Towing! The dispatcher was so nice on the phone and helped me get a quote so fast. She was able to get a truck to come out at my requested time that I asked for. Jose helped me. He came out super fast and was super helpful. He tested my battery and let me know what was recommended. He was able to get my Jeep up and going and on his truck within minutes. He also helped tow my Jeep to my local shop. Great service, friendly staff and quick!
