They are crooked scammers! Charged me $145 for a jump start! They took over 45 min to get there, despite the 30 min guarantee and jump started my car in 1 min & charged me an astronomical amount of money when they LIED by not staying within. The estimated time frame. Beware this company!!!!

SCAMMERS!!! If I can give negative 5 stars I would, 1 star is giving them to much credit. If you want a tow truck to come within 30 mins then go with this company but that will cost you $250 for 15miles, like it did for me. I've had my car towed before,for more than 15 miles, that cost me $50-60, so $250 was unexpectedly high! And that's not even the worst part.... Customer service is unbelievably RUDE! My boyfriend called after receiving the bill to make sure if it was correct and what are all the charges that made the bill $250. The customer service rep, named Diana, told him that it

Kids an I went out to feed the Ducks, returned to the car to find out engine will not turn over. Long story short. Dispatch was OK. the tow guy thumbs up. He couldn't tow the car with two kids in it. So he called.... it's something like a taxi I forget the name. Anyway he made sure me and my kids got home safely. Shouts out to the driver.

Total scam. Somehow my simple 10 minute battery replacement was charged the full labor fee?? I expected a mark up on the battery, but the amount I was charged is criminal and left me in tears.
What was I thinking. I should have just signed up for AAA and gotten a free tow to the batter outlet 5 minutes away where I would have just paid $10 for install.
CRIMINALS!! Taking advantage of stranded people. Left me in tears.

I was hustled my vehicles is broke down and we call no quote over the phone then when he gets there they wouldn't quote me either then puts my car on his truck I give him the address he quoted me a outrages price then I ask him to put my car back on the street and he tells me I owe 175 or he will take my car and sell it so I get strong armed for a couple mile tow for 175 don't use this company I'm paying a local company a third of the price for something they wanted please save yourself money he even bragged about a140 dollar jump he did

Do NOT call this company for ANY reason. I called them needing a jump start. Immediately the dispatcher tried to sell me a new battery. Told me his driver would call me right back. Driver called about 15min later to tell me that a new battery would cost $200 and the service call would cost $300!
$500!!?? Are you out of your mind?!!?
I called Betts Towing and their driver was there in less than 10min. Gave me a jump start and I was on the road again for $65.

I'm surprised to find that they are located in Oakland.
I was tricked by the Palo Alto page that makes it seems like they have
a Palo Alto location.
Anyway today I needed a jump for my dead battery.
I called and the dispatcher said it would take less than 30 minutes. I said okay and proceeded to wait. At 30 minutes I get a call from the driver.. He's says he'll be there in 30 minutes...okay....He gets there in about 50.
We jump the car. I ask for a discount for waiting Over an hour more than I was told. He says sure. He gives me a 20 dollar discount

I was stuck on the side of the road because I have dead battery. I don't have AAA so I decide to call auto towing. I told the lady Over the phone about my dead battery and she said she would send out the towing truck to come over and get my car. I was relieved when I saw the towing truck only 30min later. Auto towing gave me a really good price for the towing service. I recommend Auto towing for any roadside assistance you might need.

Should be 0 stars. Only reason they get any business is bc they pay for ads on google and so they are the top hit.
Waited for over an hour when they said it would be 30 min. I repeatedly called to check in and they kept saying someone would be here in 15 min.
I called another company, Courtesy Tow, and they arrived before 24 Hour. So I called 24 Hour to tell them not to come and they yelled at me telling me I cannot call another tow company and that they are still going to charge me and call the cops! He put me on hold, hung up on me, and then refused to answer my subsequent calls.

Came out to find out I had a flat tire (front right). I called Auto Towing and I admit they did show up reasonably fast. Maybe 30 min. However the lady on the phone would not give me an estimated price, she said wait for the tow truck driver to give me the price.
When he got there he said since it was rear wheel drive he had to use a special dolly thing on my front right tire or else pulling it from the front would damage my transmission. I know he was not lying however the price was outrageous!! 250.00!!!
I told him thats way to much because I just got off the phone with another tow truck

I used this towing service last month when my car got a flat tire. I was driving home from the Oakland airport over to to Berkeley. It was after-dark so I felt nervous about pulling over at night by myself on the freeway. Thank god for cell phones.
I found them by calling 411 (I said cell phone, not smart phone) Their dispatch got to my car quickly, towed my car and gave me a ride too, so I felt super safe and taken care of.
This week I used them again - this time to tow an old Volvo that had been sitting in my driveway for too long. I called these guys and liked their service again.

STAY AWAY!!! I called this company after getting a flat tire on I80. Not only did they never show up but they charged my card $55. Unfortunately I gave them my debit card so I'm still disputing the charge.
My advice call 511 and say 'freeway aid'. The bay area offers free freeway patrol for a flat tire, jump start, or will even bring a gallon of gas if you're out --- all for FREE!

I had a dead battery on 4th & Brannan, San Francisco. I called the first website I found. Big mistake. "Sure, ma'am; We can be there in 15 minutes.
I received that line 5 times over the next hour & a half. I finally got a jump from a good samaritan! They called back from several different numbers 408-219-3177 & 800-518-8687. If you get a call back from any of these numbers, call someone new. They aren't coming!
