The owner, Director & Choreographer, Carissa Christensen, and her Staff of Starz Studio of Performing Arts would like to welcome you. We hope to see your dancer in one of our. Carissa Christensen - Owner Carissa established Starz Studio of Performing Arts in the fall of 1995. The opening and success of STARZ is the fulfillment of her lifelong dream.
Services
Jill has been teaching at STARZ nearly since its inception. She joined Carissa after a fulfilling career as a professional dancer for Princess Cruise Lines, Tokyo Disneyland, Walt Disney World and Busch Gardens. She performed in numerous industrials, trade shows, has done print work and commercials and has even danced for former First Lady, Nancy Raegan.
Cari has been so wonderful in making sure the studio is organized, parents are well informed and making sure my daughter gets the best dance instructors. If we had any questions or concerns, she always makes sure that the questions get answered and the concerns are addressed. My daughter loves Starz and I can't wait to watch her grow here.
Showcase is our opportunity to present the growth, joy and excellence we cultivate throughout our season! It's their time to SHINE!. All costumes information and details will be presented with Showcase announcements in December. Students should not be allowed to wear their costumes until the performances, except for pictures.
For toddlers age 2-4yrs, (must be potty trained). Your child's individuality will be encouraged through purposeful and playful dance lessons taught by passionate instructors who celebrate your child's true self. Your child will instantly feel at home through deep connections with their teacher and new friends.
Thank you for your interest in Starz Performing Arts! Currently, we offer (2) levels of competitive dance teams, requirements for each level differ and each level has a different name. In preparation for auditions, we require new students enroll in and actively attend our regular ballet, tap & jazz classes throughout the summer.

Dance nights are our favorite nights! My daughter has been going for 3 years now, and she absolutely adores every one of her teachers. She is lead by some incredible women, and enjoys every minute she spends there. We are so excited to continue watching our little dancer grow at Starz, and we are so thankful for the incredible staff.

My daughter had been started taking classes last year and loved it. She wanted to take more classes this season. It's given her confidence and she's loving her teachers and classmates. Everyone is very helpful and pleasant to deal with. I how she continues for many years we will always go back to Starz.

My daughter loves dancing at Starz. The improvement she's had in the past 5 years has been tremendous. Starz gives her an incredible confidence boost, keeps her active, and perfects what she loves. The staff treats us like family, and I'm so grateful to have such wonderful teachers instructing her. I really feel like she is being set up for a successful future.

We have had the best experience at Starz! ALL of the staff have been so friendly and professional and truly care about the dancers. Our shy and reserved toddler is becoming a confident dancer. Thank you to Ms. Sarah for being so patient and awesome! As a mom I appreciate the support from the parents as well. It truly feels like a family. Great atmosphere. Very organized.
