I would highly recommend attending an event here. The KC symphony is by far one of the most talented symphonies I have ever heard, and the halls in which they play make the sound really pop. The parking is fairly easy to get in and out of, but for if any reason you have troubles maneuvering your way through the Kauffman Center, there are plenty of friendly and helpful staff to help you along the way. There is also a wonderful gift shop as well as some areas for concessions. The generous staff, the creative snacks and gifts, and the wonderful music were the main reasons why my trip to the Kauffman

I don't need to tell everyone this building is beautiful. I don't need to tell anyone the sound and views in the auditoriums are amazing. I will just say that the staff is incredibly helpful and they do an amazing job of ensuring everyone gets to the right auditorium and section. There really is nothing else to say. This is a bucket-list place to visit in KC.

We attended the Lyric Opera today and had such a great time. The location is beautiful with all of the glass windows. We loved how secure the process to get in was. It first started with a check of your vaccine card, no vaccine, no entrance.. no kids allowed as they cannot have been fully vaccinated at this point. Next, is the walk through the metal detector/security point. They then had someone at almost every turn making sure you were going the right way and didn't need any help. The facilities were immaculate and the Opera was so mesmerizing!!

Went to the symphony. They are requiring masks. They also require proof of vaccination. They asked for our vaccination card with a form of ID. They had you go through a security scanner, but they did not look through small bags/purses. Parking was $10 for Kauffman center parking. The symphony itself was phenomenal. It was worth every penny. We payed around $95 for the least expensive ticket.

This is my third year as a season ticket holder (not counting the suspended 2020-2021 season) for the KC Symphony in Helzberg Hall. After the pandemic hiatus, it was emotional to come back to the hall for a John Williams tribute concert conducted by associate conductor Jason Seber. Kansas City has always had incredible community support for the arts, and the Kauffman Center is a true gem. I have been here for events ranging from classical music, to video game tribute concerts, to yoga in the Great Hall, and I never fail to be inspired when I walk in the door. Although my seats are in the Grand

This was my first time here and oh my was it beautiful!! I came here with some friends to see some Opera. We were not disappointed. Everyone was so kind and nice in directing us where to go. The underground parking garage was fantastic, kept the car a little warmer than the outside. The theatre and play and balconies were just stunning! The gift shop was so cute too! Will be back for a souvenir since they were closing when I got out of Opera. Would love to see ballet here!

A true Kansas City treasure!
The staff was a collection of the kindest souls the city has to offer. The architecture is one of a kind. Something you must see to believe. There isn't a bad seat in the house. We sat on the top single row and the symphony sound was aw inspiring. The place is organic in a sense that it just becomes natural and comfortable. I simply don't have words to express my experience. You just must go see for yourself.
