Senda Athletics was started in 2010 by Argentina-raised Santiago Halty, who found solace and community through soccer when he moved to the U.S to pursue a college education. Santiago started the company with clear goals; sharing his passion for Futsal and small-sided soccer, bringing Fair Trade and premium performance to the category, and improving lives along the way.
Futsal is a variant of soccer played on a hard court slightly larger than a basketball court. It is mainly played indoors, but it can also be played outdoors. Futsal is played between two teams of five players each, one of whom is the goalkeeper with a smaller, heavier, low-bounce ball. Unlimited substitutions are permitted.
