Mar-flex Waterproofing & Building Products is an innovative manufacturer of waterproofing, basement and air barrier products. We supply builders and contractors with a full range of materials and equipment for lower-level-living environments. Mar-flex was founded in 1984 by Brett Oakley, a former volunteer firefighter who was concerned that many families couldn't escape their homes during disastrous situations.

Mar-flex ArmorAir Barrier 1200p vapor permeable air barrier system is designed to stop air infiltration and exfiltration in the building envelope while allowing the transmission of water vapor preventing condensation in the wall assembly. ArmorAir Barrier 1200p acrylic membrane adheres fully to CMU, concrete, exterior sheathing and most other building materials.
Joints and edges between barrier materials are at risk for water penetration. Transition strips create impermeable barriers which protect these vulnerable areas from the water. I had some troubles with the basement crack repair kit but while writing my review the foam expanded filling in all the cracks and I expect it will do the job. So, happy but with a couple of constructive comments. First, hold the tip on with one hand while you squeeze the plunger as it doesn't stay on. Second, note the plunger is empty when it is only half way down the tube. Third, make sure to put plenty of the covering material at the bottom of your crack so all the goop doesn't flow out the bottom. If you seal the bottom of the crack first, replace the tube when it gets hard even if it seems
