I went on the ghost tour back in 2017 and it was a super cool experience. Over Christmas this year my husband and I went back to stay and experience the hotel in its full glory.
We stayed in the governor’s suite. It’s a beautiful room featuring two rooms with amazing king sized beds, a wonderful parlor with an attached private balcony with rocking chairs. A wet bar with mini fridge and microwave.
Since pets are welcomed we brought our puppy along and he loved it as well. Enjoyed the balcony and exploring the grounds.
The staff where amazing and breakfast at the crystal dinning room was delicious

For anyone that appreciates history the hotel is a magnificent representation of Victorian architecture. The inside of the hotel is well-kept and has an original charm that cannot be duplicated. The staff is genuinely friendly and will be happy to help you and accommodate you with any questions or needs. We stayed in room 202 and I must say we did have some strange occurrences with the lighting but that's for a different time. If you stay I recommend taking the expanded ghost tour it's a half an hour longer and much better than the basic tour. The only single issue I had with the hotel is that

So we did the ghost tour. My wife had done it about 15 years ago and it's really not worth the money. Read on Google you can probably do a self-guided tour and not waste the money. My wife said it is far different and not worth it.

Place is amazing, the history, the staff and the rooms are all amazing. So impressed. That said I'm writing this review before I've slept here. Pending any ghosts!

The room was much smaller than I expected. There was only 1 chair in the whole room. The top cover blanket had what looked like black dog hair on it. I did request a new one but never received it. The front desk employees were very friendly. I would definitely stay again though. Sadly we did not have an ghostly experiences in our room.

We stayed here for one night and did a ghost tour. Everyone was very friendly. We ate at Skybar Pizza on the fourth floor. We had breakfast on the main floor. So much beauty to see on the grounds. My son loved the swimming pool. On a different note.. if you are an empath you will most likely a unique experience.

Such a fun stay. I went on the ghost tour and booked a room. There is so much history in this building, it is absolutely beautiful. And the story behind the building, the ghosts and the architecture is an experience I truly enjoyed. I will definitely be back, gonna bring my brother with me to ghost hunt next time!

We stayed here in November. Overall not impressed, especially for what is supposed to be upscale. Our room was plenty big, but there were only 2 beds and a couple of dressers. No place to sit except for the beds even though there was more than enough room for a couple of chairs and a small table. Sometimes there was no hot water for showering and the bath was very small and crowded. We ate in the dining room 3 times (mostly because we had a credit, a gimmick on the part of the hotel). The food was OK, although a limited menu. The service was acceptable 2 out of the 3 times. Tim was the 3rd server

I love the Crescent, especially the activities Ghost Tour and history. One of the best bonus features of the hotel is the free shuttle service back and forth form downtown Eureka back to the Crescent. It’s a little pricey for the condition of the rooms, but the history and experience make up for it. If you’re looking for luxury, it’s not really the place to go, but if your looking for an amazing view, great history, and an all around great place to visit, check out the Crescent.

Never have I ever had a hotel make me cry. As a returning guest my boyfriend pays a lot of money to rent out one of the most expensive cottages the hotel rents for multiple days every single year. All I wanted to do was buy a sweatshirt at the hotel which should have been a simple task especially since we like supporting the local community and establishment. Brooks however made such a simple task a very difficult one leaving me in tears. When we called Mary she seemed super understanding of our issue stating that what happened wasn’t acceptable. When we went to check out things were still so
