I came across HPS Law Group by trying to gather information on how to complete a Provisional Patent Application on YouTube. I clicked on the video from Maker's Meetup and was walked through the steps by Clark Proffitt. His video was the most thorough I had seen and a tremendous help. I was able to complete the necessary paperwork and file my application with the USPTO. I was so happy I was able to do this portion of the process but I still had questions and I am fully aware filing a nonprovisional patent is a lot more complex and is strongly suggested to get the assistance of an attorney. Worked with Burt Skiba to help with a trademark for my small business. He is very knowledgeable and easy to talk to, I felt comfortable asking questions and learning the general process. Burt and Brint have flipped the attorney model. They actually want you to call them. I call on them for business contract review, defending our trademarks, intellectual property, trade secrets. These guys a Entrepreneurs first and Attorneys with a personality. Call them, you will be surprised to find them actually interested in your success.
