Down Under Waterproofing was in incorporated in 2006 by Walter Gural. We came up with the name Down Under Waterproofing because we are literally, "DOWN UNDER" the house or building. We realize many home and business owners have researched different methodologies and we differentiate ourselves from others by listening to our customers.

The basement in our 1960's home had been leaking water for years and we finally made the decision to get it fixed for good. We're really happy we went with Down Under Waterproofing. They explained that a new french drain system with two sump pumps would stop our water concerns in the basement. Once a date was set, Walt and his team were on time and completed the job in the 4 day estimate that was given and our basement has been dry ever since.

Walt and his crew did excellent work fixing up our basement on our house built in the 1880s. They helped repair the foundation, reinforce footings, add support, and waterproof the entire space. Walt was very straight forward, never tried to oversell us, and was extremely responsive. His crew was very hardworking and diligent. I highly recommend Down Under Waterproofing!

This company is so reputable, so above board and so honest. My Hamilton home had water in the basement- not a lot but it needed to be addressed. My first quote was a hard sell/ my house will crumble- if I sign that day, they’ll discount 70%. I asked them to leave. DownUnder was my 2nd quote. Walt the owner came to my house on a Saturday,. He assessed the issue, explained to me the process, quoted me a more than fair price and told me they could start the job in 2 weeks. Walt's price was competitive and his work was exceptional. Max was the crew chief and did a great job. I had a new Bilco door installed and the foundation around the Bilco door reinforced with some new blocks, rebars and masonry work. They worked over the weekend and when they were done the work area was clean with new paint on the walls. My hiighest recommendation for Down Under!

I had some crawl space piers replaced by Walter and his crew. Everything from the initial quote, to the finished job, was smooth and professional. Walter was very thorough and explained everything that would be done and how long it would take. I went from having sinking, unstructurally sound piers, to brand new, thick and sturdy and supports with cement footings. They did a great job and I can finally have peice of mind that my home is structurally sound. EXCEPTIONAL!!! Walt Gural and his crew took on a huge job at our new house. Our structural engineer said he only trusts one guy to get the job done right, and boy are we happy we listened. Our newly purchased home had structural damage on all four walls from water pressure....horizontal cracks and vertical. Walt assured us that it was fixable and went right to work with his crew.
