I get they are trying to take care of other peoples homes...But it's much easier to book with AIRBNB. The time it takes to book the home and MILLION questions, forms etc you have to worry about filling out in timeframe. You could have BOUGHT a home
Busy traveling so had my assistant fill out the paperwork, well it doesn't match my ID so not acceptable.
Every GUEST walking in the home needs to have there photo ID on file and be above 25 or face eviction
If im spending 2k a night, shut the hell up.

DO NOT RENT PROPERTY FROM THIS COMPANY
I rented a property for my son and I along with my sibling's family. They suffered a medical emergency 3 weeks prior to our arrival. I had to cancel. I understood the cancellation policy. But they assured me that a refund would be issued if they rebooked any of the time there. They did, but I never received any refund. When I inquired about it, they claimed they issued a refund in the amount that was a quarter of what the property booked for.
They are now not returning any communication.
And I am out a lot of money.
I love Folly Beach, and I plan on rebooking

Like many other reviewers, I had a terrible experience with management. The company requires every occupant of the rental property to submit a photo of their drivers license, as well as an extensive rental agreement. They will demand this immediately upon booking and give you a 48 deadline. The company called me after viewing all of our photo IDs to inform me that our reservation would be canceled because they don’t allow anyone to set foot on the property if they’re under the age of 25 and without a legal guardian. One of my friends is 24 years old until June (one month after our trip) and

Management is beyond unprofessional and just plain mean. My family experienced the loss of my sister and brother in law this year, and wanted to do something positive and plan a trip. This included my college age niece who is under 25 and does not have an assigned legal guardian as she is not a minor. Because of this Melissa denied us a property, yelled at us on the phone, called us liars, and made my elderly mother cry. Why would anyone spend their money here? If you want to know how this place treats their customers just look at how they respond to all the negative reviews. Malicious and contemptuous

Critical: Professionalism
We rented a beach home from Follys Best which was comfortable but very old, after checking out they charged us $1200. for damages that we did not do without us even a chance to address them. I will never use them again and I would suggest taking alot of pictures upon checking in.

I would like to start off saying the property was designed beautifully. Every room has its own personality. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen has everything you would need. We had issues with the thermostat but Mike came right out and reset it. The villa is only steps away from the private beach and amazing restaurants. We hope to visit again in the near future!

We needed a place to stay for a two months while our home at Folly Beach was being renovated. That was in February. The combination of a really incompetent general contractor and COVID-19 caused that time frame to expand to 5 months! Folly’s Best worked with us every step of the way and kept a roof over our heads with no drama. Great people to do business with! I highly recommend them.

What a great house (Back Bay #1) and a great experience. The house was beautiful, extremely clean and well kept and had everything (and more) that we needed for our stay. The location was perfect. We had a question about parking our cars and rented golf cart, and a member of the staff was very quick to respond on a Friday evening. We couldn't have been more pleased with the experience.

Dad's Dream: There for our son's college graduation from the Citadel and we had to deal with this b.s? Ripped up "screened" porch, rusty broken chicken wire hazard (my son cut himself and had to get a tetanus shot), jagged rusty metal grate on porch door, inoperable sliding screen door with a big rip in the bottom of the screen, improperly hung screen doors with gaping holes at the top, "screen" doors do not have a latch, you can only hook latch and lock someone out, or in. Many window screens need replacing, trip and fall hazard on what would appear from pictures to be beach access, but it leads

Boogie Down is the downstairs unit of a two story home. It has two bedrooms and two bathrooms. There is plenty parking and the unit is dog friendly. It is clean and comfortable and has some updates. The decor is somewhat a mixed bag of beach theme with a deer antler clock and some creepy monkey lamps. The furniture and beds are in great shape. The kitchen is updated with good appliances and is fully stocked with cooking supplies. This unit is across the street front the beach and very convenient. However the unit is a bit expensive compared to other places we have stayed here. Especially the dog
