I have never camped at this location. I have only used this place to dump my waist tanks. But over the phone and in person anyone I have talked to were nothing but pleasant. For me they are so close to home it makes it easy and I'm not going to complain about 30 dollars to dump my tanks compared to driving way out of my way to save 5 dollars which actually cost more with the price of gas.

First let me say "kudos" to whoever wrote the sales pitch for this campground. Let me be completely honest to all who is considering this place, it is "not a resort campground". We have traveled Missouri, Arkansas, Tennessee, Kentucky, Michigan so far. This was by far the worst campground we had been in. The lack of maintenance, location (scary, scary) but not to single this campground out, the whole city of Muskegon is scary. We drove thru the nearby state park, very nice campground. Wolf Lake campground had only water and electric all at the front of the back in sites so, have extra 30 amp (only

I was suprised to get a Veterans welcome from the owner,He is a Navy veteran as well ,and when i mentioned this he gave me a discounted parking rate,i told him i wanted to run my metal detector around ,he then told me of his wife loosing a very expensive necklace..so i went directly to the area he had told me of...well i didnt find it,but i did find a solid silver knife wich i went back and gave it to him...he was very suprised that i brought it to him,well it was on his property and so it belonged to him. I enjoy the hunt and its always good to do this so as to be invited back...maybe next time

I wanted to visit a group of friends who are camping here from out of state. They wanted to charge me 8.50 to go in and say good morning and have a coffee before we took off for the day. He Said asking to visit for free was like going into a bar and asking for free drinks. My friends camping there said they got upcharged upon arrival as well. What a bummer.

Nice camp ground decent bathrooms and showers.They offer electric and water you have a picnic table and burning put at your site.A very big beautiful clean clear public lake across the street from the campground .The owners were nice.
A quiet place to relax .I didn't want to leave it was so peaceful.

This campground and these people have been amazing! I remembered them from my childhood and decided to bring my family for the summer too. We had a blast!
We had a family emergency with our daughter and they called several times to check on the family and make sure she was alright, even though they had no obligation. This is a family run business that treats you the as one if you let them. Joan and Pam keep a tight ship and make sure everyone is safe and happy and "Grandpa Ron" is a joy to have, my kids absolutely love him!
I love that they have the animals and our family dog was welcome to come
