A passion for helping others led me down the path of Medicine into a career that allows me to provide a unique, 1:1 hands-on approach. As a professional Physical Therapist since 2001, I bring a wholistic approach to medicine in order to find atypical yet effective solutions for everyone. My goal is to offer the best physical therapy to get your pain under control as quickly and efficiently as possible.

While I love treating all body parts, I specialize in SIJ dysfunction and hip pain (hip impingement). I began experiencing lower back pain almost three years ago. Being young and active, I ignored it at first. Eventually, the pain worsened to the point of not being able to even put on my shoes without excruciating pain.
Services
My primary practice setting has been outpatient orthopedics where emphasis is upon manual intervention. Hands-on skills have been priority not only in practice, but also with choices in continuing education that involve joint mobilization (including thrust), myofascial release, and integrated movement.
Cathy was AMAZING! I went in to see her regarding a lower back injury due to a disc Herniation from weightlifting. After my injury every workout caused me pain if I did the wrong movement. Cathy actually found out that my pain was coming from having an uneven pelvis, which she fixed! I am so thankful to God that I found Cathy!
Hands-on skills is paramount for an adept physical therapist. I put every effort into maximizing these skills because it makes/breaks what kind of therapist you can be! It should be expected that your physical therapist applies hands-on interventions versus simply pointing which exercise to go to next.
Cupping therapy is great for a more efficient myofascial/connective tissue release and to promote improved blood flow (where it was previously lacking). Think of connective tissue as thick cobwebs interlaced between skin & muscle or muscle to muscle and imagine if you did a close-up on muscle that there are small fibers parallel to each other that glide back and forth when you move.
Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM aka Graston) is the breaking up of myofascial tension/muscle fibers and promoting new blood flow to the area. This is done more by a "scraping" motion using an instrument with varying edges to achieve improved myofascial mobility. It can be combined with motion or while maintaining a stretch.

I was referred to Cathy by a relative who started treatment with her. I had for the first time in my life been experiencing low SI joint pain for about a month and a half. Her methods are unorthodox and unique. She is an expert in identifying and locating the root cause of any mobility issue - some go back years. I’ve seen her 3 times now, each time the treatment is more intense but I get longer relief. She also gives you things to do on your own to break habits that contribute to these issues and also to assist in your therapy in between visits. I’m not going to lie the treatment for me has

I went to see Cathy based on a recommendation from my trainer. I came to her with significant lower back pain that was impacting my daily routine and my ability to run and exercise. Her hands on approach and ability to isolate the problem and address it efficiently was amazing. I’m addition to my sessions with her, she gave me several exercises to do at home. I’m happy to say that I’m back to my regular workout routine and feeling great. Honestly, it’s the best my back has felt in years!

By far the most kind and caring PT I've ever worked with. Cathy went above and beyond to work with me and explain in detail why I'm having muscular imbalances. After seeing multiple people over the course of a year she was actually the first one to correctly identify my source of pain and I'm so grateful for that. Highly recommend Cathy to anyone that needs a dedicated PT :)

I am beyond grateful for Cathy’s expertise and practice. I’ve had Lumbar spine pain for nearly 4 years and was never able to get a clear answer as to what the root cause was. I’ve seen chiropractors, physical therapists, spinal specialists and manual therapists - none of them were able to help relieve the pain quite like Cathy did. In our first session she quickly identified the issues at hand and knew exactly what to do to correct them. On top of that, her office is clean and comfortable and she has a wonderful personality! I am so appreciative of Cathy and her incredible work.

Cathy is super personable and really effective at communicating. She always makes sure you understand the purpose of what she’s doing and is able to create and good picture of what the problem is and the necessary steps needed to fix it. As someone who knows very little about my own body I found Cathy helpful and informative.

Cathy is incredibly knowledgeable and has a special way of working on things that you won't easily find anywhere else. If you have a nagging pain that won't go away or a mobility issue don't hesitate to go see her. She's great!

Cathy is AMAZING!!! I am a professional dancer and have been looking to start taking better care of my body. Cathy took time to listen to some of the issues I was having and later explained to me how we were going to work to improve these issues. I’ve learned so much about the mechanics of my body and the “homework” Cathy gives helps me to continue improving, even when I’m not at the office. And an added bonus: she’s a wonderful person! We chat and we laugh, and I never leave the office without a smile on my face (and a very limber body)!!

Cathy is amazing at what she does. She’s extremely informative during the sessions and gives follow up exercises. Along with the appointment she sends an email explaining everything she went over. She is quick to respond to questions and follow up appointments. I would recommend her to anyone looking for a physical therapist.

Wow I couldn’t believe how helpful and effective just one session was! I came in due to a pain in my shoulder after a fall in the early part of the pandemic… I had let it go for quite sometime until my shoulder got locked up and I lost much of my range of motion. Cathy was amazing from the moment I walked into the office. She’s professional, fun and she really knows what she’s doing. She asked some questions, performed her evaluation, and quickly moved into treatment. I was shocked that when she was finished, I was able to regain my range of motion. Before the session, I could not lift

Cathy is truly the best for physical therapy! I’ve been to other places for PT and it seems like they don’t really personalize the plan, they see multiple patients at once and they aren’t very hands on. Cathy is the opposite of all of those things! She creates a plan that’s very specific to your concerns, you have her undivided attention during your session and she’s very hands on! She uses a variety of techniques and she sends you great videos to explain the homework. I put my body through a lot, from regular workouts to natural childbirth, so I definitely needed the therapy.
