Although the area is nice with friendly staff and good food within a very short walk. The quality of apartments is simply not worth it. The apartments are very narrow with minimal natural light and underwhelming light fixtures.
The poor build quality is most evident in the inability to restrict normal day-to-day living noise weather that be people above you walking normally, you can even hear medium dogs as though they were full grown horses. Neighbors through the wall are not difficult to hear either.
The specific apartment I rented had an issue with the shower where mildew was clearly forming

Update: resident since one year. It’s pretty good to live here. Staff is very helpful and friendly.
Staff is not friendly neither accommodating. They aren’t in sync with what their website shows on availability of apartment options.
They won’t tell you all the requirements and formalities in person. And if you miss something they will say it was in the letter. Not happy at this moment. But fingers crossed for better living experience here. I hope I will not get to deal with management here.

Staff Not Friendly or Welcoming... Except for Jill! I enjoyed living here for a while, but after certain circumstances occurred it was a pain and the staff became not-so-friendly. My main complaint at this time is the fact that I continue to get the COMPLETE run around about my refund check that I've been waiting on for more than 30 days. First, I'm told to give them my address again and each time that I ask about it - no one is telling me where they've sent it to even though I've provided my correct mailing address more than 4 times. I challenge anyone to find a nicer complex in the area for the price along with the amenities around you.
It's remarkable to read some of the recent reviews. They in no way reflect the experience I've had, nor my friends and family for the past 7 months.
I would encourage anyone considering Langtree to meet with the staff and tour the complex before you decide.vs reading reviews from disgruntled former residents or guests whose cars were soiled by nature - so petty and unfair.

All of the staff have been very friendly and helpful. The property is kept very clean especially considering the number of public events that happen at LangTree. I have never seen an apartment with 3 bathrooms... But my apartment has 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. I didn't think I could afford living somewhere like this when I initially came to the apartments just to visit someone... But after that, I looked up the price and it was surprisingly reasonable! The salt water pool is always clean, the only time it was crowded was on Independence day but that was expected. I don't see how anyone could complain

The Management cares more about the people who visit Langtree, than they do about the tenants.
It's amazing how no one can have trailers or wave runners on the property, unless you work in the maintenance department. They have there own storage room located in retail section under the up ramp of parking deck. I have personally witnessed staff member bring it in and out of there.
I have seen countless people have their trailers stuck with warnings and would be towed if not removed!
This place has a double standard.

Mold & Trash! It's tough to decide the one thing that bothered me most about living here, so I'm going to go with two, the trash & mold situation #ridiculous. Make sure you stock up on bleach, you'll be fighting a never ending battle against black mold. The trash, it's piled up & over flowing. It's embarrassing... The constant false fire alarms & random beeping were pretty bad too. Good luck trying to find parking on concert nights. Make sure don't leave any valuables in you car, they will disappear quick... But the location is good!

LangTree Lake Norman is a wonderful place to live! Both the staff and the people who live here are very friendly and helpful. It is also dog friendly and that's a blessing! The lakeview and the walkways around the ponds are very relaxing and beautiful. They offer many outdoor activities like movies under the stars and craft beer festivals. The saltwater pool is fantastic and the whole pool area with cabanas and comfortable furniture and big screen tv's, fireplace, and grills is to die for! There's a 24/7 exercise room, a billiard table room, a game room and a computer room

Great place to live. Extremely reasonable rent for the level of quality you get. The maintenance service is fast and always gets the job done. I don't know what Matt was talking about - there have been NO MOLD ISSUES in our apartment and we have been living there for a year now. Also, not sure how the trash can pile up as there is a Valet Waste service that collects your trash right from your front door, 5 days a week! Perhaps Matt kept his apartment a pigsty with mold and trash everywhere but if you're a normal person that keeps things clean, you will have absolutely no issues living here. The

***Very Poor Service from Staff*** I called spoke with Kelly. She promised to forward information and never did. Called back two days later and left a message for Kelly with another rep. Never heard back and called three more days later and left another message. Showed up at Langtree on Saturday morning. Staff member 30 minutes late. Current renters asking for mail and Langtree rep was rude to them and wouldn't help them. Do not rent here!

I wish that I could tell it all. Honestly, this is my favorite apartment. Parking is so open. I love the live music. The gym is motivational, I've probably overused. I dearly love the pingpong table. Let's seeee... I walk with my family around the park area andddd my wife conveniently walks downstairs to get her nails done when it's time.
