QUEST Taekwondo was founded in 2006 by former Filipino Olympian, Master Walter Dean Vargas. Drawing upon several decades of experience on the world stage as a competitor, coach, and mentor, Master Vargas continues his QUEST to pass on his knowledge and to mold the next generation of Taekwondo champions.
At QUEST, we teach body control, balance, power, strength, and stamina all while instilling confidence, discipline, and integrity. Fun, interactive, and easy to follow classes for children who are just starting their Quest. Learn basic gymnastic and aerial moves, how to use nunchucks and the bo staff, and be a part of the Demo Team.

Our instructors are decorated Masters, while our Leadeship Team consists of Black Belt student instructors. We strive to help every student in our school to grow physically, mentally, and emotionally. Our sparring and poomsae teams train rigorously to compete in local, state, national, and international events.
Our youth program provides children with the tools and skills they need to achieve their goals. Children who study martial arts. As students achieve their goals, they make progress toward the milestone moment when they earn their very own Black Belt in Taekwondo. Along the way, children forge lasting friendships, a shared identity, and a sense of common purpose.
The SPORTS POOMSAE ( FORMS ) TEAM is for those students who want to showcase Taekwondo's amazing kicks, strikes, and movement sequences. Our instructors equip students with the skills that enable them to compete at the highest level, performing Taekwondo forms with precision, fluidity, and grace. The QUEST FIGHT TEAM is an elite competition sparring team that participates in the Olympic Sport of Taekwondo.
Quest's Black Belt of the month, Aleyah Cordero, is always ready for her close-up as much as she's also always ready to put on her hogu and get on the mat to kick and punch the taekwondo way. We've been reading about the Legacy Cup on Facebook, and have seen snippets of Team Quest's accomplishments, so let's now see the faces of the rest of our Team and some of the action that happened that day.

Master Vargas is somebody who will always give you 100%. His attention to detail to the sport is unmatched and he will always put his athletes in a position to succeed. I highly recommend anyone in the 951 area to visit his studio. Your children will benefit in not only learning self defense but also learn hard work ethics and discipline.

Amazing studio, instructors and parent group. Quest tkd Temecula is Master Dean Vargas' second studio in addition to his successful Redondo Beach studio. Master Dean, Master Bobby and Master Kamille are dedicated mentors and instructors. This is my daughter's second studio after her old school was bought and she didn't like the new owners. Our oldest son was also a black belt from another school but Quest is definitely the best one we've seen. High focus on sparring, hard working masters and dedicated parents.
