Lochel's Bakery specializes in Decorated Cake for All Occasions! All our cakes are made fresh daily from scratch using only the finest ingredients. Since our cakes are made fresh daily we can accommodate most "last minute" orders, so don't worry just give us a call! All cakes can be customized to a specific color, design, theme or just whatever your desires are.
Each year, Lochel's Bakery allocates a budget to support local community activities through contributions. We are pleased to do our part to assist your organization. However, requests have become so numerous that they exceed our financial capabilities. Therefore, we cannot guarantee that we will be able to assist your organization at this time.

My moms birthday was Jan 14th! We purchased a cake from Lochel's Bakery!
First of all the store is in a great location bc it's right in the middle of hatboro where there are little shops along the way!!
It was an all vanilla birthday cake, the cake itself was perfectly moist and decorated to perfection!!
The cake wasn't overly sweet, which was just a plus!!!!
Thank you for making this beautifully made cake for my mom!! The staff are so sweet and very helpful!!! The owner is always on point, she does great promoting her business! She's a hard worker and So is her team

We've been to this bakery quite a few times in the past and love their butter cake. We decided to order our Thanksgiving pies from here, an apple crumb and pumpkin pie. The pickup process was a pain as they only had one person collecting the pies and going to the other side of the store to process the cards. We also got some baked goods from the bakery too and had to wait in another line.

I have read so many great reviews on Lochel’s Bakery that I stopped to order cupcakes for my sister’s retirement party today. I purchased two cinnamon swirl glazed donuts for my husband and I. Ate mine before I got home and I must say that my husband’s donut almost didn’t make it to the house. 😊 I want to express how delicious it was … so so good 😋 and how I cannot wait until I pick up the cupcakes and eat them too!!! Thank you, Lochel’s Bakery your the best bakery around … Hands down!!! The customer service is really awesome too!!! 💯

Fantastic job on our daughter’s Halloween Sweet 16 birthday cake! She was so happy with it! Lochel’s cake looked way better than the sample picture we gave them. Absolutely delicious too! If you want a professional cake done right, from a bakery that respects its customers, look no further. Worth every penny!

Lochel's saved the day! We found out that the baker for my little sister's bridal shower needed to back out 24 hours before the shower. I called Lochel's to see if if they were available, and they were so amazing about setting it up. And look how absolutely stunning the cakes and cupcakes turned out!! Absolutely amazing and so so so tasty. We cannot thank Lochel's enough for everything they did!

I got gelato from here once and I would not get it again because it lacked flavor.
Today I bought one of their pre-made cannoli cakes for my mom's birthday. They offered to put a 'happy birthday' pick on top which I thought was very nice of them.
The cannoli cake is a chocolate chip cake with cannoli filling, chocolate frosting and 2 cannolis on top for $30. I was disappointed in the flavors. The cake may have been a couple days old because the chocolate shavings

HUGE VARIETY! Whereas some bakeries are 75% cupcakes, Lochel's boasts a terrific balance between cookies, donuts, rolls, breads, sticky buns, dessert cakes, occasion cakes, and of course festive cupcakes. There is truly something for everyone.
The handiwork on their decorated sugar cookies (not to mention their cakes) is exquisite! To celebrate a St. Patrick's Day birthday, I picked up a sugar cookie featuring a sparkly rainbow and pot of gold. So cute!
I was most impressed by their staggering variety of pastries/danishes. Wow! I wanted to try

I've gone here twice now since being a Horsham resident.
Their cookies are good but I always notice a weird flavor in them that I don't find at other local bakeries.
Buttercake is pretty on point. Thick and heavy.
All in all, pretty average bakery. Didn't blow my socks off, but not disappointed either.

I fell for the hype of the presidential cookies and was disappointed through the entire process. I called in an order for a birthday get together 9 days in advance. I didn't receive them after 8 days and when I called to follow up got the run around and was told to call back after the weekend - when I needed the cookies - to see if they had the order. When I got a call today, I was told they didn't have the order at all but they would save some cookies and I could pick them up. Stand in line and come get them.

I was excited to go to this bakery as I heard great things. When got to the shop it was beautifully decorated. Inside was where this review turned sour. The staff is very preoccupied with talking with one another and when you ask if they have something they were very rude especially the guy there with brown hair. I didn't catch his name. I was super excited to buy pastries as we don't have these in AZ and it's been a few years since I've been back to my fathers hometown. We went to another shop and spent $200.

Okay ... it's 2020, updated review. Got some donuts the other day and while taste is still very good ... they were not filled. I bit through like 7/8 of the donut before hitting a minuscule amount of creme. My dad had picked up donuts a few months earlier and the owner had apparently been yelling out that no one better tell her there wasn't enough creme in the donuts. Those donuts yes were in fact packed! So maybe there's just some inconsistency which is a bit disappointing when you always get the same thing. I strictly go for their donuts now only because they are a bit pricier

Oh boy this is one of the best bakeries I have been to in a long time. It has that old neighborhood feel to it. I love walking in here just for the smell that hits me as soon as I open the door.
The bakery is easily accessible with street parking. The shop is clean and well maintained also well stocked with goodies. The cupcakes are unbelievably tasty and so fresh. The buttercake is just soft and luxurious. My favorite though are the butter cookies they are the absolute best I have ever eaten hands down.
The staff is professional and courteous and very helpful. It is very trying on my self control
