Jessica Ornelas joined Barrett Property Management, Inc. in 2017 as a Property Manager for the Placer County region. She is a licensed California Real Estate Agent and member of the Placer County Association of Realtors. With a professional background focused on customer service and project management skills, she has a solid foundation for working in the real estate industry.

Looking for a home for rent in Placer County can be overwhelming and time-consuming if you don't have the resources you need. At Barrett Property Management, we try to take the stress out of the renting process by providing clear and accessible information on our policies, application procedure, and review process for selecting tenants.
We are available 7 days a week via appointment to show available rentals to prospective tenants. All rental showings will be scheduled via our Tenant Turner software, which requires a valid photo ID to be uploaded. If you see "Wait List" above a rental listing, this means a showing has been done and we are reviewing applications.
Before applying, please take the time to view all of our available rentals here and then read through the Tenant Policies and Procedures so you are familiar with our requirements. You are welcome to apply online and submit all required paperwork beforehand in order to be placed in line for consideration of a property, but please remember that you must still view the property before your application will be considered.

After over two months of unsuccessful attempts to get qualified renters for my condo, I called Jessica and she immediately walked me through her company's process, including thorough background, rental and credit checks. She also gave me updated progress reports. Some of the rental prospects commented on how professional and happy they were with her. Within less than 3 weeks she had it rented. Her fee was fair and definitely worth it. I highly recommend Jessica and would definitely hire her again.

Jessica was very helpful to me when I was looking for a first floor apartment for my son. She had a second floor apartment listed on Craigslist. I called her to see if she had any first floor apartments. I was surprised that she answered the phone, as it was a Sunday afternoon. Though she didn't have any first floor apartments, she suggested I sign up at her website to be notified when any became available, which I did. Within minutes, she emailed me back with a list of other property management companies in the area. I checked all of their listings. Turns out, an apartment on one of those lists

I worked with Jessica to list/rent our home during the month of December (not an ideal time to place new tenants). However, Jessica made this process feel easy. She is a true professional with excellent communication skills. She delivered a quick response time to all of my inquiries and followed through on all commitments. We were lucky enough to only show the house once and select tenants in under 30 days. Due to her assistance, this stressful situation resulted in a smooth and seamless transition of tenants. I've been in Property Management for 23 years in the SF Bay Area. In my opinion, Jessica Ornelas is the best Property Manager that I have ever run across - and, yes, I'm including myself. Jessica did an excellent job finding tenants for two of my rental homes. She is very professional and always responded promptly to my phone calls, emails and texts making me feel as if i were her only client. Jessica's knowledge of the rental laws is invaluable. There were many items written into the contract that i would have never thought of mentioning, but was happy that she did.
I have handled my own rentals in the past, but after a bad eviction last year i learned some valuable lessons. I now leave the tenant screening and contracts to the professionals like Jessica. She is defiantly worth

Jessica is friendly, professional, and methodical. We are selling our house and want our daughter to attend a local high school, so we rented a property through her firm. Her background check was the most thorough we have experienced to date. Shortly after we moved in, some minor fix-it issues came up. She handled everything incredibly quickly with great communication. Seeing things from the tenant's perspective made me appreciate her service that much more. Jessica helped me with a Property Rental recently. She was a consummate professional throughout the process! I recently relocated here from the San Diego area and sometimes the individuals I worked with up here have been less professional and enthusiastic than I was hoping for.
