Find directions, pricing and our schedule for SoHo Yoga's Hermosa Beach yoga studio and beach classes. First-timers should arrive 20 minutes before class to meet your yoga instructor, ask questions, and get settled on your mat. Want to take a heated class in our Hermosa Beach studio? Sign up for one of our public classes or request to book a private!
Connect with your teacher before class and take a moment to breathe. Keep in mind we have a strict in-studio late cancel and no show policy ($15 fee for members or loss of class for non-members). This means you will not be admitted to class one minute after the scheduled start time. Water, a mat, a mat towel, and your beautiful self are the only things you will need for class.
Our studio offers a broad variety of modalities, as well as heated and traditional (non-heated) classes. Our motto is to eliminate the reasons to say "no" to yoga. We offer our classes at a range of temperatures with class times that are 30, 45, 60 and 75 minutes long. Take a peek at our descriptions below and check out our schedule to see which classes and times suit you.
I trained in theatre and music at the GSA Conservatory in Surrey, England. While there, I was introduced to the Alexander Technique, Tai Chi, the Lessac method and began to practice yoga as a weekly exercise. I fell in love with its holistic approach of uniting body, breath, mind and spirit together in one practice.
Embark on a journey of self discovery, make lifelong friends, find enthusiasm in learning about the body, mind and spirit, and leave with the tools you need to be a knowledgeable and compassionate yoga teacher. Natasha Snow Needles, co-owner of SoHo Yoga, leads the training with a welcoming presence that sets the tone for a loving kindness practice during the 10 weeks together (and beyond!).

The manager stole my sunglasses. Confirmed it with the employees that's said they saw them in lost and found but when they checked they weren't there. Then was told the manager grabbed them. He denies it though. I tell all my friends, coworkers, family, and
people I don't even know not to go there. Those were $200 sunglasses

I joined SOHO yoga for hot yoga. The heat in the hot yoga room is not hot as I expected. They have steam in the room. The steam in the room makes you get wet rather than the sweat from heat in the room.
I was only able to take the morning 6am or 7-15am classes during those times most of these classes are not yoga experiences with smooth yoga stretches, yoga flows and yoga music. Instead these classes seem to be desperately trying to prove that you can get better butt and better abs by doing crunches etc for heavy , loud music. I do bike ride for my cardio and workout on machines for my muscles

Purchases 30 classes for $30 and the day I took my first class covid shutdown hit the bet next day. During covid I moved out of Hermosa and contacted Soho Yoga for a refund since I was only able to use 1 class. When I spoke to the front desk person I was told "well you took 1 class which adds up to technically be 1 drop in class." I didn't purchase 1 drop in class I purchased 30 classes for $30, I didn't pay $30 to take 1 drop in class. I've been emailing them for the past few months and literally no one has gotten back to me. I do t appreciate businesses who try and take

This review is ONLY for their customer service team and that alone. I've tried reaching out for weeks, now a comical number of times, to get information and no one has gotten back to me. It's really frustrating when I can see on social media that they respond to others but can't answer my questions. I've emailed, called, reached out on the website, Facebook, Instagram- all to no avail. My husband and I were interested in purchasing a couple packages and giving it a go, but I guess they don't need our business.

If you are thinking about trying Soho Yoga the 30 days for 30 dollars..... this is your sign!!!! DO IT! I am new to yoga, I took this challenge and completed 27 classes. Completely out of my comfort zone. I took a chance and listened to my intuition and I am so stoked I did!!!! Just signed up for the 6 month unlimited and honestly I look at it as an investment to my mental, physical and emotional health and well-being! Thank you to all of the wonderful staff and teachers for doing what you do. This is now my little paradise away from it all. Thank you and please never leave!!!!

The classes and teachers at Soho Yoga are exceptional. However, the front-desk staff and back-office team drop the ball which creates a headache for attendees. United and American Airlines treat their basic economy passengers better than Soho Yoga does a full paying guest.
Say, for example, you arrive four minutes early to class. You will lose your spot at their more popular classes and will not receive credit or a refund. Soho Yoga sends you a canned response with no consideration for the circumstances.
Soho explained that this policy was outlined in an email sent 12-hours prior to class

I had the worst experience at this yoga studio. It was my first time visiting and my last. Get this, after my session I was in a zen mood until I was accosted by the person working the front desk. She accused me of taking too long at the shower. According to her, another client claimed that I was taking too long when it wasn't true. Rather than ask non-accusations questions to understand more, she went straight to lecturing me on shower time rules.
What made the matter worst is that the staff member could not drop the topic. She kept pressing and pressing and pressing that I cannot take

The studio is very clean, and unlike many other hot studios, it doesn't smell of sweat (Yey!) The bathrooms are usually quite clean but the changing area is a little small. The upstairs studio (non-heated) is much smaller than the downstairs one, and classes are usually a little less crowded.
Tatiana's Power classes are excellent, but they get packed so book your spot ahead -- way ahead! You'll likely be mat to mat with other yogis and the room is more humid than most because of the misting fans, so be prepared to sweat.

Great class this morning with Tracey Boyt-Sweat and Stretch...I really enjoyed it and I even got a little emotional ( they say that's normal, I think)
I am absolutely addicted to Soho Yoga Studio, HB. I love the workout, I love the practice, I love the staff. Its made me a better person, inside and out. I have learned so much since going to SOHO..and looking forward to more. I have never been to SOHO, DTLA, but I'm sure its as inspiring and dynamic as SOHO, HB.

Oh how I love hot yoga.
Parking during the day is such a hassle, so give yourself some time to find a parking spot.
Trainers and classes are pretty special. The place is friendly and creates a sense of community.
The ONLY thing I don't like about the place is that during the evening classes, the place slightly smells of BO. I assume it's because so many people come in the evening classes which is understandable...:/
I still give it a 5. The facility is clean, the staff attentive and nice, classes challenging and fun, other clients friendly.

I am a regular who tries to practice two hours a day. Soho Yoga gives classes that have helped me deepen my practice and have made me stronger. Classes are geared towards vinyasa so they are flow-oriented but some will also hold your pose for a few breaths. Most teachers will work towards a peak pose near the end but there are some who mix the “peaks” throughout the class (e.g Amanda Murphy will make you do a crow at least four times in a one hour class and once in a while will challenge you to hold one of them for thirty seconds). All classes are mixed level but a strenuous workshop regardless

Absolutely love this studio. I Have been in a new workout vibe, where focus on strength, detox, stretch, and refocus are my body needs. Normally, i am a lifter, however, I am worn out of pump at the moment.
CLASSES:
I signed on with SoHo for the "$30 for 30" and I swear every Class has been amazing! Top notch instructors, great studio environment. Best price in town especially for the quality of this studio.
PARKING
Depending on the time of year parking can be tough in Hermosa, period. But Fall & Winter have been a bit easier, with lots of parking a cross the street (Hermosa parking

Awesome yoga studio. Friendly staff and teachers really help you, it's never a competition or too advanced for newcomers like myself. I love the hot yoga options and it's always different each day, giving me a great sweat.
It also doesn't stink like other studios I've been at and the music variety is solid.
Best deal on south bay with their 30 days for $30.

I love love love this place! Not only is it such a welcoming place, but it encouraged me to embrace yoga, which honestly I never thought I would *covers eyes*. After having knee surgery and having to back off of running I started to try yoga, eventually stumbling into this magical place. Immediately walking in I felt so welcome and became ADDICTED. They offer both heated and non-heated, with a wide array of classes that go for really physically demanding to slower foundation based classes. A little something for everyone.
Seriously though, try this place out. Especially if you're a doubter, like

First time here while visiting the area. this was exactly what I needed and the place itself has got it all!
The studio is clean and equipped with everything you need for a great experience— eucalyptus towels for after class, a full bathroom (kinda small but has everything you need), the room where the class was was amazing too!
The class itself (power flow) was INCREDIBLE. Tatiana was real, fun, strong and the definition of badass. Everything about her words and practice was wonderful. Also, I loved her music. She definitely creates a community and the regulars seemed to know, love and support

Instructors are excellent and very welcoming towards all levels of yoga skills. They offer regular and hot yoga with different variations within each of those categories. The hot yoga is always downstairs and regular upstairs. If you're new to yoga and tend to sweat, it is highly recommended that you buy/rent/borrow a towel. Sliding around on your mat can be very frustrating and shouting profanities during poses is frowned upon. At least to my knowledge.
