Very honest mechanic, who told me up front that he didn't want to do anything with car because it was probably still under warranty. Helped me facilitate a tow to a dealership to get work done. I really wished I could have given this guy my business, and will definitely go back to him in the future for non warranty repairs. Thank you!!

This place is awesome and the mechanics are very knowledgeable. my friend had their car towed to thousand oaks automotive at 8:00 a.m. in the morning and they were able to fix the problem in less than 3 hours and for a completely reasonable price. They don't overcharge you, like a lot of other mechanic places tend to do.

My car needed to be checked out badly and so I called TO Automotive to see if they can take in my car. Les answered, and not only did he take in my car very last minute, but he was transparent, honest, and thorough every step of the way. Communication is key for me when it comes to car repair and Les did not disappoint. The price was reasonable as well. Will definitely come back!

I’ve been taking all my cars to Les since I moved my family to Thousand Oaks in 2006 and he’s been nothing but honest and up front about any of the work needed for my cars. His prices are way more than fair and I certainly trust Les more than I would any dealership auto service shop. I definitely recommend Les for all you car needs.

Les is great! He is honest, straight forward, and always remembers ever detail of my and my wife’s cars from the last time he saw them. He also is a great guy to just talk with. At this point I pay the little extra money to do even my oil changes there over some place like Walmart because Les is always looking over the whole vehicle and can say “oh, next time I see you we need to do this” or “expect that we need to take care of this in next couple of months”. Les is exceptional.

Took my Mazda Pickup in because of a citation for non-working brake lamps. Had a few other things checked out including brakes, general maintenance, but the whole point was to replace what I thought was the brake switch so I could get back to driving my truck.
Was informed all 3 lights were burned out and had to be replaced. . $1000 or so later after all the other work, brake lights still don't work, and another citation before even getting down the street. Wonderful. For as much as you spend, you'd expect some quality work, especially something as serious as brake lamps. I'll update

Les knows his stuff. I needed a pre-purchase inspection on a track car including a proper leak-down test. I was shocked at the number of shops that didn't know what I was talking about or didn't have the tools. Les took care of everything and he did it for dirt cheap! I can't recommend these guys enough!

These guys are awesome, i brought them my beater truck, fulling expecting a timing chain replacement (around 1000 dollars), but they took a hard look at the truck and figured out it was some lifter noise and some loose belts. 50 bucks later I'm out the door.. you've got to love an honest mechanic. They will get all of my business moving forward.
At the same time I was dropping my car off there was an older lady they were taking care of... and I man really taking care of her..explaining what was and wasn't needed
