The first factor for me in finding a good mechanic is that I can trust what they tell me. I have taken my Mercedes here twice and definitely recommend them. The most recent trip I am a bit ashamed to admit was something of user error. Not only did they not make me feel like an idiot (which I am)- it would have been pretty easy for them to charge me more money by saying there was something wrong when there wasn't. The only downside of this shop is they are not open on the weekend but is an inconvenience I will certainly suffer through to continue to take my 2006 Mercedes here. Thank you guys

Recently, and on short notice during the holidays, they were able to take care of some pretty significant repairs to my daughter's VW Tiguan. I have been taking my car to Brent for several years. He's always honest and upfront with his estimates and repairs. I took my truck to Bennett Automotive when the service engine light came on. I was able to drop off my truck same day. Brent diagnosed the issue and updated me about the steps to take clearly. He worked with my warranty and had my truck back to me quickly. This shop is much easier to deal with than the dealership, and I will be back if I need anything else.

I have a 2013 Hyundai Sonata Hybrid and My reverse/Backup lights weren't working. I wasn't from the area and I went to another highly rated shop who told me that my bulbs and fuse were fine and that the problem was in the computer and I'd probably hAve to take it to the dealer. I called a Buddy of mine and he recommended Bennett. Turns out it WAS THE FUSE!!!. They potentially saved me at least 100 bucks in a possible diagnostic at the dealers. TOTALLY RECOMMEND THESE GUYS!!! Hint, don't take your car to any shop in Tustin with the word Galaxy in the title.

In the middle of this heatwave the last thing you need is your AC to be on the fritz. I was trying to be cheap and tried diy and soon realized this needs to be left to the pros. I found Bennetts automotive and was impressed with the reviews so I called and Brent quoted me less than any shop. I went to his shop and was impressed, he's very professional and doesn't sugarcoat things he's up front and to the point when it comes to prices. I only trust taking my car here!!! I TRAVEL FROM SAN DIEGO to have Brent look at my truck, I have been going here for years and I only trust him. I took my car to be looked at in San Diego and they gave me a quote/list that was outrageous. So I called Brent and asked if he would double check. Sure enough more then half of what was on that list didn't need to be worked on!!
I respect his honesty, and fare prices!! its tough being a girl bringing your car to a mechanic lol!
