Highly recommend Dr. Shasteen! She takes the time to give a thorough exam and explains the process. As an optometrist she is very knowledgeable and will take the time to explain everything to you as well if you have any questions or concerns. She was wonderful and very patient with my 2 year old. Her staff is very friendly and accommodating to you as a patient as well. I was very impressed with the eye glass selection provided. ** To provide an update to their response that I would have a hard time finding another office who provides the same services they do, I am happy to report I did find a location. They were compassionate and explained in further detail the precise issue my child is having and the evaluation my child wilI need. Included in their explanation was that they could even work with her school to get her extra help. I have been able to set up appointments with no issues.

Dr. Shasteen is an incredible optometrist. She is top in her profession and great with kids and adults alike. Her staff are knowledgeable, kind and professional. I never feel rushed, and I know she's giving my family the best vision care possible. I also love that part of her practice is to give back to charity wherever possible, and that she works to provide access to care for active military and veterans. Modern Heritage Eye Care is a great addition to our community and I'm blessed to be a patient there.

I do not recommend Modern Heritage. The cute building and glasses do not make up for a lack of knowledge. Dr. Shasteen’s answers to my questions for my baby completely contradicted an expert in the field that my oldest son sees at Cleveland Clinic. I will keep driving to Cleveland! The infant check was a complete waste of time here. The appointment was also an hour and a half, where we saw the doctor for about 20 mins.

We discovered Dr. Shasteen when my daughter needed vision therapy a few years ago. My daughter absolutely loved therapy with Dr. Shasteen, so when we discovered she had branched out we knew this is where we wanted to be. For our family personally she has gone above and beyond service and five stars isn't enough. If you have small children or you're an adult this is where you want to be trust me. The waiting room has a TV with movies for children and even a little play desk area. Adults enjoy a friendly staff and a wide variety of magazines!
