A comprehensive exam helps determine an accurate prescription and provides an assessment of your overall eye health. As part of your complete vision examination, Dr. Scherreik will test for glaucoma, examine your eyes for cataracts, corneal disease, retinal disease and other issues that may impair your vision now or in the future.

My first visit in 2019 was so awesome and welcoming! However, when I went in to schedule an appointment last week, I was very rudely and abruptly told that I would need to call my vision insurance carriers because, apparently, my insurance cards were not in the system. Fast forward to today, my insurance rep reached out to the office to assist me with the issue, to which she was told my insurance was not accepted there.
Now, I guess they thought because I was Black, that I would spaz out if they would have relayed that information to me, but all they did was create a headache that could have been

BGSU students, look no further for an eye doctor that makes you feel like you've been their patient for years! As a new student at BG, I was nervous about establishing a relationship with a new eye doctor. I knew within a few minutes of my first appointment that I was in great hands! I truly can't speak highly enough of Dr. Scherreik. He's unbelievably personable, passionate about what he does, informational, and it is crystal clear that his priority is you and not profit - which is a rarity. Also, the staff is super welcoming, kind and helpful!
