We can't believe that our 95th Season has come to an end! These past seven weeks have flown by! It's been an incredible summer! Thank you to the wonderful camper's that we had this season, the parents who sent their boys to stay with us, the CIT's who worked tirelessly to support the campers and. Today began with the soothing sounds of WBRC radio, bringing everything to everyone from funky tunes to important news.

The dominating story in the news today was the stunning turn of events in the triathlon: Campbell H. was ruled out due to medical concerns. Campbell had dominated the event placing first the past two summers, . Wow time sure has flown by this summer! Today was the last full day of activities here at camp.
Services
Experiences at Birch Rock are great fun, and at times extraordinarily challenging. Boys learn determination and how to pull together through it all. Keep that spirit alive by reconnecting with Birch Rock and with each other. Although some of the cabins and lodges may be new and improved, vital traditions remain unchanged and the essence of the camp you know and love endures.
As a 501 (c) 3 nonprofit organization, your much-appreciated support is vital for keeping Birch Rock programs and traditions strong. The following tax-deductible giving opportunities are available to support a diverse camper community, to preserve excellent programs and facilities, and to enable us to hire the most qualified staff members.
Today, 90 boys and 35 counselors come from around the country and world to build a close, trusting summer camp community at Birch Rock each session. A boy's energy, curiosity and sense of fun are strengths at Birch Rock. While Benjamin embarked on the Birch Rock experience with some trepidation and anxiety, we are very impressed that he thrived there and wants to return next year.
In the event of a family emergency, please contact the Camp Director. If you will be away from the numbers you have designated for contact, please let the camp know of your plans and itinerary. The parent/guardian of any camper requiring serious medical attention or hospital care, will be contacted by the Camp.
The Health and Safety of our campers and staff are our first and foremost concern. The Birch Rock Camp Health Lodge is staffed by experienced, caring registered nurses and licensed personnel 24 hours a day, seven days a week (with standing orders from Western Maine Pediatrics). The camp will notify you if your son spends the night at the Health Lodge or needs to be seen by a doctor.

BRC is a gift I wish every boy could experience. If you're considering sleep-away camp for your son, choose Birch Rock in Maine. The experience will become an important part of his life story. Growth, chellenge and comraderie is what BRC is all about!

My two sons have been attended Birch Rock for the last 8 years, now as a counselor and a senior camper. I can’t say enough about what this amazing place has given them – shaping them into men who live by the camp motto “Help the Other Fellow.” It is rare to find a place where they have the chance to disconnect from electronics and competitive sports and reconnect with friends and the outdoors – Birch Rock Camp is that place.

Both my sons have been attending Birch Rock since they were 10 years old. My oldest just completed his 9th year (2 as a counselor) and my other son his 7th season at The Rock. They are confident, well-mannered, and independent teenagers that look at life as opportunities to embrace new challenges. BRC helped to mold them into people that are patience getting to know others, confident in their own skin, and to challenge themselves to go beyond what they think is possible. My youngest son has been dreaming about completing his whale, which is a 5 mile swim around lake Mcwain since he first got to

Sending my two sons to Birch Rock Camp was the best decision possible! My boys loved camp, and summer after summer grew to be more independent, capable and creative. Birch Rock's focus on old-fashioned camping traditions is priceless in our tech-crazed world. Kids thrive when they unplug and play games---getting away from nonstop competition---in the summer. The whole camp community lives by the motto 'Help the Other Fellow' and every child is encouraged to try new things, take on challenges and feel real accomplishment. This camp creates the perfect blend of structure and freedom, principled living

My brother and I were campers for 3 summers in the early 1960’s. I totally loved those weeks. Their great memories have lasted over the decades. It was so wonderful living in the camping environment with all the activities and unique experiences. Years later we sent our son for six summers. It was very beneficial to his development into manhood. Now, we’re a few years away from offering the camp to our grandson. In the fast paced world of today it is boy’s chance to get close to nature and get away from tv and smart phones.

An incredible PLACE!!
I spent the greatest summer of my life at BRC and things I learned back then still help me today.
Made sure the camp's motto stayed with me throughout my life: HELP THE OTHER FELLOW.
One of my friends from '78 still runs the camp (Richard Deering). Recommended 100%.
One of these days will visit to re-live old memories.

Birch Rock Camp is probably the best place in the world. It is an escape from everyday life to a fun, energizing, and friendly environment. The people there are wonderful- the friendships you make there will last you your whole life long. And believe me, you won't want to leave.
