What sets Micah apart from other camps isn't our Ninja Warrior Course or heated pool, it's our community. We have the best of both worlds at Micah. It's hard to find a camp that has high quality activities, experienced staff, a beautiful setting, and great facilities while at the same time having a strong culture and community built upon a philosophy that everyone in the camp knows and lives by.
Founded in 2001, Camp Micah is a traditional, Jewish, co-ed, overnight summer camp for campers ages 7-17. We are situated on a secluded lake in Bridgton, Maine. We have modern facilities, offer almost every activity, but most importantly we have a caring, nurturing community that both campers and staff return to summer after summer.

Working at Camp Micah doesn't feel like work - it's fun too. The summer is spent forming bonds with campers and staff, passing on your knowledge of an activity, having experiences that will last a lifetime, keeping you wanting to spend summer after summer overlooking Peabody Pond. Our staff is made up of professional, competent, and caring young people who love working with children.
Our schedule offers campers the opportunity to choose their activities within a structured format. Although each camper has a certain amount of choice, the scheduling system is designed to encourage a well-rounded day filled with water activities, sports, the arts, and more. From the youngest campers to the oldest, there is a scheduling progression that allows campers to expand their horizons.

Great place for kids to spend the summer. Very qualified and caring staff with great activities and facilities. This is definitely their happy place! And they are unplugged! No electtonically of any kind! Just good old fashion fun. The way it sound be. The camp friends bonds they form are amazing. Camp director is very approachable and cares about everyone.
