Historically, one of the biggest obstacles in overcoming problems in life and reaching enlightenment was the fact that the mind could not be precisely defined. This prevented people from discovering who they are and how to become Truth. This meditation defines the human mind as an accumulation of pictures, stored within one's body and mind.

The center has helped me so much! My anxiety was crippling and I was at my wit’s end. I’ve been using their method for the last year and a few months ago I stopped using my anxiety and depression medication completely. The method may not be for everyone, and it certainly felt strange at first, but my quieter mind shows me it’s working.

I started practicing for the first time meditation with the Austin Meditation Center 10 months ago. Initially I thought I would try it for a couple of months and see how it goes. It has been a very positive and enriching experience for me. It has giving me a way to get rid of negative and useless thoughts that just clutter your mind. It has helped me deeply change the perspective of how I look at the world in a very positive way. I feel more connected to my true being.

We saw a flyer for Austin Meditation while on vacation in Texas. Dropped in for the free seminar. Turned out to be a fun sidelight. The people here are some of the warmest, most "chill" people you will ever meet. Meditation must do that for you. We learned how it calms the mind, relaxing the body while liberating the mind of thought waste. This is no longer a thing we wanted to try for fun. It feels like we need it. A necessity. Looking around at all the anger in the world, Humanity needs this.

I've been with Austin Meditation for about one year, and it's made a huge difference for me in my day to day life. Less stress, much less anxiety, better sleep. This meditation method is very similar to western style CBT type therapies but more effective in certain regards. I have been referring my patients here as it is truly therapeutic and I believe it works.

Austin Meditation helps me to have balance in my life. The staff members are always kind and working hard. This meditation is a good place to cleanse my racing thoughts. Each class starts with a simple lecture and it helps me to follow the method. Method is logical too. It took about 10 sessions until I saw a real result in my mind. Since I have been attending Austin Meditation, I have noticed a significant change in the way I view life. It has positively impacted me by helping me discard negative images of myself and others. Also, it has reduced my mental clutter and helped me be a more relaxed and happier person. I have tried to quiet my mind through other types of meditation, but this is the only method that has worked for me. I highly recommend it to anyone searching for long-lasting happiness.
