Before getting into the laundromat business, I was an elementary school teacher. I loved working with families and having the opportunity to serve in the community every day. Owning this wonderful laundromat has allowed me the continued blessing of serving the community. It is my desire to make doing laundry hassle-free for every customer.

I had unexpected company for two weeks in a row and I had writing deadlines that I had to meet or else. So, my laundry, needless to say, had piled up into an overwhelming monster of a not so fun to do responsibility that kept remaining at the bottom of my, "To Do" List. Finally, I simply didn't have not one item of clean clothes to wear or clean towel to dry with, I needed a rescue. I called Sierra madre Laundry and gave the sweet woman that answered the phone my sob story and then later I talked with Anthony, the store manager and he came to my home that day and without any judgment

I’m visiting LA for work and had to get some laundry done from a long stay. I dropped my clothes off for the washing service and couldn’t have been happier. They air dried all of my collared shirts and pants without me needing to ask and did a fantastic job. The people working there were also super friendly. Would come back again if I need more before I leave!

Years ago my mother raised 3 of us on her own and so it was just easier to go to a laundromat. I remember the one back in Princeton NJ. It was quiet, clean and in a nice area.
Years later I still use the laundry but recently a lot of the laundromats, (if not all) on Route 66 are Dirty, mismanaged and half of the machines are out of order.
I went here and was pleasantly surprised. Very nice and large enough with the choice of machines. Dryers are extremely powerful. 50 cents to a dollar should cover a load. People are friendly but I had a really bad morning and was in my headphones mode drowning

Glad to know I found Sierra Madre laundry very clean environment lots of jumbo washers and dryer's also they use AutoZone which is really good for sanitizing clothes in the washer and dryer's I do a lot of laundry for house and spa they give me a really good deal on folding and hanging my clothes and I love that very sweet ladies work there

The fact that I can come here and not have to worry about being cash with me is awesome. I've tried multiple places and they all have dirty machines or homeless people hanging around making customer uncomfortable. This place is small but it's clean and u can pay with your smart phone, outdoor sitting area. Great view towards the mountains while u wait. This nice guy helped me get the app going and showed me about the machines. I think this is going to be my spot now

When I first started coming here, pre-covid, the place was a spotless piece of heaven dropped on earth. Customers used to clean up after themselves, the machines were clean, and it felt like Sierra Madre took PRIDE in this place. Mind you, I'm talking about the 3AM customer experience, not regular business hours. My last 5 visits however, even with the spiffy new machines, coinless payment, and better products in the vending machines, the 24 hour laundry has become a pig sti! I went to this laundromat because I read good reviews and I needed a high capacity washer and dryer for my comforter. I thought I was going to be able to use credit card based off the reviews and website. However, when I arrived I discovered that the machines only take coins and I would have to use an app to pay with card. I'm not interested in downloading another app that I won't use often. So, I decided I'll just get some cash for coins. Anthony, the attendant told me he could spot me the amont for the wash so I could get my load going and pay him back when I returned from the ATM. I wish they clean their washing machine regularly. Whenever I go to do my laundry I can see a pile of dirt from other people's laundry.
This laundromat is really close by but I go to LA to do my laundry except when it's emergency(when I don't have time). I love that they are 24/7 and it's really close by but I just want them to clean their washing machine regularly since I want to clean my laundry not dirty them with dirts from someone else's laundry.

This establishment has my business for life! I have always appreciated how clean they keep the business and that there are never shady characters hanging around but captured my devotion is Anthony, one of the employees.
I am currently battling cancer and it is painful to do normal chores. Without even being aware that I am sick this man helped me with 10 loads of clothes. Not even realizing how much he was actually helping me. He didn't know me, he didn't want anything other than to be of service.
It is these sorts of experiences that renew my faith in my fellow human beings.
