Disregard the previous review of NBIA! My daughter has been attending classes at NBIA for over 3 years. With the help and dedication of her talented teachers, she passed her Grade I Cecchetti exam last year (age 8) and is preparing to take her Grade II exams this spring. The students and teachers perform several times, at various locations, throughout the community to share their love of dancing with others. Highly recommend!

BEWARE: Do not buy tickets to productions here. The name National Ballet is designed to scam internet ticket buyers into believing they are buying tickets to professional theater productions of shows such as the Nutcracker. The so-called "cabaret seating" is a few rows of folding chairs set up in a tiny strip mall dance studio. The owner refuses to refund those taken in by the misleading promotions of these productions. We were not the first to fall for this scam and won't be the last. Shame on the National Ballet Institute of Edgewater MD.
