The Pre-Academy program is designed to ignite the love of dance through technique, musical calisthenics, creativity, teamwork and play for ages 2 to 6 years old. The Junior Conservatory Division is a pre-professional ballet program for the serious young dancer. Our JCD focuses on a comprehensive classical ballet curriculum for the committed student, ages 7 to 12 years old.
The Senior Conservatory Division is a pre-professional ballet program for the serious young dancer. Our SCD focuses on a comprehensive classical ballet curriculum for the committed student, ages 13 to 19 years old. The Adult Nouveau program has available classes for Beginners, Intermediate/Advanced Students and specialized Ballet Classes for Ages 50+.

The Ballet Nouveau School's Summer Workshops & Intensive are ballet-based programs designed for the next generation of creative thinkers and pre-professionals. All faculty members are classically trained and will guide students in an assortment of classes such as classical ballet, contemporary ballet, modern, jazz and classical ballet variations.
Ballet Nouveau School believes in changing lives through the art of dance and providing opportunities to young creative minds to further their training. Scholarships are available for promising students with the passion and dedication to dance. 5 Summer Scholarships and 5 Yearly Scholarships are available and include full tuition and one uniform.
BalletNouveau is Baltimore's premiere contemporary ballet company that unites distinguished choreographers with exceptionally trained local dancers to forge new works of neoclassicism, strength and effortless grace. Founded in 2016, BalletNouveau is entering it's premiere season under the direction of Artistic Director & Founder Kristen S. Stevenson.
Ballet Nouveau's BALLET PROJECT is committed to educating today's youth in a complete training program that generates the accessibility of classical ballet to multi-cultural communities within Maryland, Virginia and the District of Columbia. The Ballet Project partners directly with local community organizations for 8-10 week sessions to introduce the basics of ballet to today's youth.

Kristen is truly a gem within the dance profession and is very knowledgable about the art of dance. She is extremely passionate about teaching and takes the time to ensure that her students are learning proper technique in a developmentally appropriate, safe, and positive environment. She takes her own education seriously and constantly continues to take classes, attend workshops, and better herself as a dancer and educator. I am proud to call her a colleague and friend of mine. Highly, highly recommended!!!
