I switched to Auto Owners Insurance through Shawn Lappen at the Anchor Agency (Plymouth, MN) because it would insure my hobby farm. Auto Owners also offered a better rate and better coverage than my previous carrier. Tom was recommended to me by a friend several years ago. He is very accessible and responds to my needs quickly. Each year before my policy renews, he evaluates the market for the best coverage/price for me. He does a good job describing the differences in coverage between policies and companies. Michelle fettig is amazing! She's saved hundreds of dollars a year on our home and auto insurance. The best part is she regularly checks every 12 months for us to make sure we are getting the best rate. For example, I was originally paying $180/month for auto insurance, they checked the next year and saw that I was turning 25 during the next cycle, switched me to a different company, and I started paying $90 per month!
