Well I drove in from reading to come to this shop and glad I did! They helped me pick out a sweet new carbon fiber handle bar, new stem and grips. Wish I could remember the name of the guy that helped me!! Anyway. Awesome dude. I Mounted the bars and stem and grip when I got home feels like a different bike in a really good way. I will be back !

Went looking for a new bike after doing some research… twisted cog had several in stock so I decided to go “looking” ended up coming home with a new giant talon 2… the one I needed was not assembled yet …… within an hour it was put together and I was test riding it. The staff was friendly and easy to talk to and didn’t pressure sell me anything. Very satisfied with how the whole experience was. Thank you 😊

My friend and I were in from out of town completing a 100-mile bike ride along the Schuylkill River Trail when my friend’s pedal stopped working. We still had 30+ miles to go on a Saturday and luckily we were near Phoenixville, so I found Twisted Cog through a web search. We called over and spoke to Jeff, who told us to come in for a look-see. When we got there we talked to a few other people there, none of whom were Jeff (he was working with a customer), and all of the non-Jeff employees were equally helpful. They determined the pedal just needed to be tightened and we were on our way. Twisted

Been in a few times and there’s lots of cool bikes and nice gear, but definitely has an elitist feel when you walk in. Sales floor staff is always good, but the shop techs are usually less happy to answer questions. Can be intimidating for a beginner who knows nothing, nonetheless quality bikes and good gear.

What can I say, we’ll I went to Twisted Cog in the hope they would work on my ebike “Super73”. I have to point out I was unsure as I didn’t buy the bike from them, only because they don’t sell them I have to add. I spoke to a colleague who passed me over to Geoff who went over and above to help me & understand what I required, which was to add a 10 speed setup ⚙️. They booked me into get the parts fitted with no issues and I was super pleased with the results and the price for the service was exceptional. I highly recommend this company. Keep up the great work 👌

Was looking specifically for a Giant Stance 29 2 and Twisted Cog was the closest shop to me(Richmond, VA) that had one in stock. I called them up and they were nice enough to hold it for me until I could make… the 4 hour drive to pick it up. Once I got up there I could not have had a better buying experience. The shop was immaculate, and staff was beyond friendly and helpful. You can tell these guys love what they do, and know their stuff! They took the time to get the bike all setup, and spent an extra bit of time outside with me on dialing in the bike for a perfect fit and ride.

I've been neglecting my bike and in the last few months I needed new tires and a repair to my gears. Both times they quickly fixed both issues on the spot and were very friendly and helpful. When I say on the spot, they were finished and checked me out before my quarter in the meter ran out! Convenient location too, close to a lot of my favorite local trails.

My experience at this bike shop was fantastic! Everyone who works there is enthusiastic about cycling and relaxed about sales. I called about needing a bike with absolutely no experience in actually shopping for one. After a few conversations and some test rides, I left Twisted Cog fully setup with a nice bike in my price range, and only the accessories I needed to enjoy the sport. No upselling, just really great service. I couldn't be happier with my purchases and I'm excited to use my new bike!

I feel like the newest cheerleader for Twisted Cog. What a great place! I was looking for a bike that actually fit me, and I decided to stop by. I ended up buying for many reasons, but the biggest is they know what they're doing. They fitted me to a bike, explaining what to look for and let me test the bikes first. Every person in this shop knows their stuff. Plus, they carry great brands.

I brought my road bike in twice for service here and had an excellent experience on both occasions. First was for a quick fix to my chain and then to have my bike tuned up before a Half Ironman. When I received my bike back after the tune up it was like a brand new bike. I could not have been more happy with the work done, the service and the friendliness of the staff and resident doggy Benny! Highly recommend them to any avid cyclist.

I walked in off the street and told them about my bike's loose bottom bracket, then they gave me a rough estimate and told me to bring it in. I came back 10 minutes later with my bike, and they told me to come back in an hour. I returned in an hour and they had repacked the bearings and fixed my issue. That sounds just like how that story should have gone right? Excellent, fast, and honest service. They don't make you feel like your questions are dumb, and they don't try to sell you on stuff you don't need.

Independent bike shops are almost always better than the chains, and I'm glad I drove the 20 minutes to Twisted Cog rather than the 5 minute trip to the chain near my office.
Greeted at the door, no rush to explain my bike's issues, and no hurry to get me out the door. I took my bike in on a Wednesday for major work and didn't expect it for a month since it is riding season. Ed the owner told me to expect it back by the weekend, unheard of from almost any shop. Hook, line, & sinker repeat customer from me.
