A few days ago i went to a salon in new jersey, the hair stylist gave me the worst highlights ever (I asked her warm caramel highlights, but days later turn into orange). So I called salon allure in PA and told them it was an emergency so they were very accomodating they gave me an appointment the same day I called.

From brunette to blonde! The owners and staff at Salon Allure were just over the top accommodating. I had done a home bleaching. Suffice to say, I was yellow! I came in toward the end of the day and was immediately assisting. The salon is family run and husband, wife, and daughter all participated in my transformation.

Growing up in the Philadelphia area all my life, I always used to go to the same Korean [ah-joo-mah] lady to get my hair cut since elementary school. After moving to DE and trying various places from local to chains, I never really got a good consistent cut, even if I went back to the same place. Recently a friend of a friend named Antonio moved to DE/PA area from VA and the friend recommended me to try him out as he had a very good reputation down in VA area. The salon itself is very clean and organized with a modern-simple look to it. The staff are very welcoming and friendly.

I moved from california and I was extremely worried in finding a new stylist for my hair. I have asian hair so its not easy to cut and style. My hair is extremely thick and it has a mind of its own, so I needed someone who can cut and style for me without having to go crazy the next day after my shower. This is when I met Antonio. Not only is the salon clean, trendy, and beautiful but the stylist there are amazing. It's been almost 10 years since I've officially "lived" in Glen Mills, nomadically migrating from Chapel Hill to Durham to Ocean City to Philadelphia (finally!) However, despite trying countless different salons, I finally realized that as long as it's only a quick trip out to the burbs, Allure will be where I get my hair cut and colored from now on...
My styling of choice (partial head of highlights, haircut) is not cheap, but it's certainly more affordable than some salons I've visited in Philly. And the service is downright impeccable. A family-run business

I came in here today so they could fix a bad haircut by someone else. Not only were they as nice as could be in, they kept calm in time of what was clearly a major crisis. Not only did they fix the bad haircut, they made my hair look AWESOME. I couldn't be happier.
