I heard many good things about this shop and took my car there for a repair. Unfortunately my experience was absolutely awful. The shop never called with a quote/diagnosis and when I finally called hours after I was told I would be contacted, the information was lacking. I decided not to have the repair done at that time and went to pick up my vehicle. MY car was not there. The mechanics had taken it for a joyride!! They tried lying, saying it was for a test drive which was ridiculous since no repair was made and the "diagnosis" was done. The mechanic used 1/3 tank of gas on this joyride

Great customer service! Bill Clark Automotive was recommended to me by another mechanic I trust and I have never been disappointed. They are honest, thorough, straightforward, and really care about their customers. I've been to some mechanics that will lie about all kinds of things just to try to get me to pay more. Bill Clark never does that.

We love Bill Clark Automotive. We take our Honda CRV and Honda Pilot for all services. The passenger window in the Pilot wouldn't go up. Our Labradors window when driving around town. We called and got it in yesterday and was able to get it fixed the same day. Joe and Becky are so friendly and professional. Told Joe that was Dustie's Moo Cow window when we take our country ride every Friday and picnic. We highly recommend them.

Joe is always friendly and helpful! I've learned that this is the only place in Ventura you should bring your vehicle for service you can trust. If they'd don't offer what you need for your vehicle they will give you a recommendation of where it can be done.

I took my car here after going to Firestone. Firestone quoted that I needed so much work with a hefty price tag. Took it to Bill Clark and asked him to check if I needed all the work. Come to find I only needed a few things. His shop has saved me thousands on repairs. His prices were great for the repairs I needed. He is honest and dependable. I would not take my car anywhere else. Joe is so friendly and knows his stuff.

Years ago, we were referred to Bill Clark's Automotive by a neighbor. That was a GREAT referral! Bill Clark's is a small, family-run operation where the mechanics really know what they are doing, customers are treated in a friendly, courteous manner and where honesty and integrity are central to the operation. Estimates regarding both cost and time of completion, have always been accurate and the work itself has always been superior. Took my 2012 Toyota Yaris at 11 AM. Joe took care of it. Services were 75000 mile service, transmission fluid exchange, Oil & Air filter change. Joe definitely has a heart of a teacher and explains to you why he is doing what he is doing. He asks for your approval before doing anything extra to your car he sees it needs to be replaced which I really appreciate. All of this took about 1hr. Amazing local business!

I got recommended here by a coworker. Oh man was he right. Joe was courteous and professional. He listened to what I thought was wrong with my car and took notes. I had been told by another mechanic that my car was fine just needing a tune up.
Then when my boyfriend's car pooped out right in front of the garage they came over to one see if we were ok and gave us a quick jump. It was super cool and made a truly wonderful impression! I think he's going to start using Bill Clark's too.

Best mechanic I have encountered by far! I have been to all of the Ventura Ford and Toyota dealerships for services on previous vehicles I've owned and encountered had shady experiences at every single one. Bill Clarks is the only place I trust to get the job done right and for a fair price. Service is top notch too!

I love this place. They are hardworking, honest and reasonable. We have taken every vehicle we have owned in the last 20 years to this business and we have always left very satisfied. We got an estimate yesterday from Paradise Chevrolet for $2710. + tax then took my vehicle with the same diagnosis to Bill Clark Automotive and they fixed the problem for $312. Very satisfied

Still absolutely fantastic service! Recently had an issue with my steering. Joe checked first to make sure it wasn't a safety issue and then researched the issue. We talked and then come to find out, sometimes the steering issue is disguised by a suspension issue and Joe wanted to investigate that before replacing steering components. Double checking on safety and other possible problems was so important to me.....he didn't just go and replace parts at random.
I've also referred all my friends to Joe and they all love his shop! Highly recommended!

We just picked up our 1990 Honda CRX from Bill Clark's Automotive and, as always, their service was outstanding from start to finish. When the car wouldn't start far from home, AAA towed it to Clark's for me, who gave me a detailed diagnosis and repair estimate within the hour. As always, the repairs were done on-time and under estimate! and Joe even gave me a ride home! Anoth r great job!
It is so wonderful to know we have such skilled and HONEST MECHANICS at Bill Clarks.....we would never trust our cars to another shop.

Bill Clark Automotive is awesome! If you read my other automotive review, you understand I haven't had the best luck with my Jeep.
Joe (the owner) is the only one I trust to touch it now. He is absolutely honest, more of an advisor if you will. He understands if he treats you fairly today, he will have you as a customer for life.
There is a reason he is rated so high. Great, honest garage!
On a side note, you can tell he takes pride in his garage. The place is so clean and organized. Everything in its place, just like it should be.

Took our car to AWS and spent over $2000 there. Soon after our car started overheating which had never happened before. We took it back to AWS 3 times, they charged us more money, and it didn't fix the problem. We called Bill Clark's today and asked if they could look it over. Not only did they see us immediately, they solved the problem and fixed it FOR FREE. Money's tight right now, and this meant the world to us. I usually don't ever write reviews for anything, but Bill Clark Automotive is absolutely worthy of a review. Joe and the mechanics are great! Honest, informative, and personable. Took my car in today for an oil change. Joe explained to me that my air filter was dirty and should be replaced soon. He said they could either blow the dirt off and I could replace it later, or they could replace it today with no charge for labor. Appreciated two things: 1) that he took the time to actually show me the dirty air filter and 2) I didn't feel pressured. He also explained that my brakes were good
