Our staff at Rotruck-Lobb Funeral Homes is committed to gently guiding a family through what is invariably a difficult time, to make the experience as pleasant as possible. We offer a variety of services ranging from Traditional and Cremation, to Forethought Planning and After Care counseling. We continue a time-honored tradition of serving the community in good as well as difficult times.

Please feel free to contact any of our staff members at any time. Jim is a lifelong resident and former Mayor of Kingwood, West Virginia. He attended the Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science, after college, where he was President of the 100th Mortuary Class in 1989.
We are proud to assist those families who choose cremation for their loved one's final wishes. All cremations are performed at our crematory located at Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Kingwood by a WV licensed crematory operator who is a member of our care team. This ensures that your loved one never leaves our care for any reason.
Since the purchase, a 288-crypt mausoleum and a crematory have been built within the cemetery. There is also a columbarium where urns are entombed outside the mausoleum. Sunset Memorial Gardens ' 42 acre cemetery also has a section named Faithful Friends designated for pets. Our Cemetery has a variety of Gardens, unique with statues, a fountain and landscaping to magnify the beauty.
Includes the basic services of the funeral director and staff, local transfer of the deceased to our funeral home, basic alternative container, medical examiner's cremation authorization fee, transfer of the deceased to our crematory, and the Heirloom Wood Cremation Urn. Please note that additional fees will apply if we must use an over-sized alternative container or casket to properly accommodate your loved one for the viewing.
