At times the most satisfying classic pie. Then you get one drenched in grease - cardboard crust. ???
Had too many good experiences to turn the place down - but happening more frequently

After searching for what felt like forever trying to find a decent restaurant open on Christmas Day, we stumbled upon Big Louie's. The aroma smelled amazing as soon as we walked in. It was very very busy (Christmas Day, so obviously busy) but they seated us right away. The waiter was very nice and tended to us quickly and he told us that the kitchen was backed up and our food may take longer than normal. This was our first decent meal as we had been traveling the last 4 days so we gladly waited. He apologized more than once for the delay. Which honestly it wasn't that long of a wait

We got takeout. The pizza was a bit burnt. The lady was rude on the phone when we called to order and even ruder when I got there to pick it up. Overall not a bad pizza but the experience could have been better.

There was too much sauce on the pizza and it fell apart very easily. You guys need to do better.

Ordered a medium pepperoni pizza and cheesy garlic rolls and a Greek salad. Had it delivered to Bahia Mar hotel and it came hot it was all very delicious. I have had Big Louie's many times while traveling for work and it has always been delicious.

Here's the deal: the lunch specials are affordable and the food is very tasty and served in huge (crazy huge) portions. The garlic rolls are delicious and covered in chunks of garlic and oil. Salads are adequate, although I'd prefer more crisp lettuce and less of the dark green leftover junk. One major issue I have with the kitchen is that (per staff) they cook all their pasta in the morning, and then it's reheated/recooked upon ordering. The place is really going down from what was.. I've dined in twice over a few week span. The pizza I had two visits ago was so greasy I'd never seen that before from them. But it's pizza so it can happen I guess. Ate there last weekend and had a calzone. It was so ice cold on the middle of it. The only reason I'd give it a score of 3 stars is because it's not the servers fault. The kitchen staff is making very horrible food. This will be my last time going here. Used to be great :(

Ordered food and it took an hour and a half to get to me, when they said it'd be 45 minutes. I called multiple times and no answer. When it showed up, it was cold. Never again.

Ordered a pick up with Medium cheese pizza, Philly cheesesteaks pizza, baked ziti. The pizza was overcooked and dry, the baked ziti was okay. The salad came with baked ziti was small and the garlic knot was not good. We used to like this restaurant as this is local, but we didn't enjoy it this time. Also employees were not wearing masks.

Do I love this place. I am a local in Victoria park and usually order few times a month. Just had tonight the Buffalo chicken pizza and it is the best I have ever had. So darn good. Cheese perfect, chicken crispy, thin slice but not sloppy thin. Crust cooked perfect. I always get the mozzarella sticks. Best around. Tried the veal parm and again unreal. This place is just good. Always busy. The food is unreal but the people who work there very polite get you in and out. Please try this place.

Great pizza, very tasty. Kids enjoyed chesse pizza we took special pizza with meat. Delivery was on time.

Don't come here on Sunday from 1:00-3:00
Way to busy and they rushed our food out before.
Had a reservation for 14ppl @1:30. Told us we need to be gone by 3:30 because there is another party. These people are clowns And bougie. if y'all like that come here then.

The name Louie will forever be haunted in my conscience for now on because of what went down at this establishment. Curiosity was the main factor for my intrigue for this restaurant being in such a convenient location but as they love to say... curiosity killed the cat. I ordered two slices of pizza for takeout. Takeout where I'm from means 10 mins max for a couple slices but i guess Louies assumes they're on island time so it took 35 minutes. The slices were massive, greasy, bland and most importantly upsetting. I'll forever have trust issues because of this place as I can honestly

Food is hit or miss. Worse part about ordering from here is the miserable girl who takes the orders. Totally rude and acts like she is doing you a favor.
Not just once but every time! Go find another job!!!

Have been ordering here for the past several years. My girlfriend is concerned with Covid and today tried to order more than $100 worth of pizza, etc., and have it delivered curbside, as the web site says. But she told the restaurant doesn't do curbside delivery. When asked why its on the website, she was told "I don't know.''
Suffice to say we took our business elsewhere and will continue to do so.

SHAME ON BIG LOUIES FOR ENDANGERING THEIR CUSTOMERS DURING COVID 19 TIMES BY OFFERING SERVICE TO NON MASK WEARERS AND ALLOWING THEM TO IDLE IN THEIR RESTAURANT.

Went in there after work last week. They have a large sign on the door that reads "NO MASK NO SERVICE". I enter the establishment and who is in there waiting on a take out order but a lady in no mask. She's standing directly next to the door with a smirk on her face. The ladies at the counter are looking at her and obviously trying to hurry her order through. This makes me very uncomfortable and I tell the ladies working

The food was great as always, but service was a bit slow (one star reduction). It smells amazing as soon as you walk in the door. We had to wait a few minutes for a table on a Saturday night at 7:00 PM. We ordered a Stromboli and salad to share. The menu says there is an $8 sharing charge, but we were not charged it (be careful). The Stromboli is large and stuffed with ingredients. It's served with the delicious marinara sauce. The salad is made with romaine lettuce. The server brought us two garlic rolls, but we saw other tables getting complimentary bruschetta.

I have been going here for years so this review is long overdue. I have had good and bad experiences here. I had a little issue with the management here and one of the servers wasn't good and I didn't like how he treated me at that time. The customer service here is on and off. Not all the time its great but for the most it is decent. As far as the food, it is good. Big Louie have several locations but this location has the best pizza to me.
