The year was 1913. Mr. H.B. Wilkinson from Concord, NC came to the newly organized unincorporated town of Kannapolis, just 4 miles north, to open a furniture store. At this time in our history, a persons' family handled all of the burial arrangements; therefore a place to purchase caskets was needed.
At Whitley's Funeral Home, we take great pride in caring for our families, and will work tirelessly to provide you with a beautiful, lasting tribute to your loved one. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by an infant son, Trevor Weast; and a brother, Danny McCora. Tricia enjoyed sports and was a big NC State and Redskins fan. She loved her family and time spent with. Lynn had been a talented local beautician, earlier working for JC Penny, later becoming self-employed.
