Services
Visitation to be held one hour immediately prior to memorial service at your church or cemetery. Coordination and supervision of a graveside service to be held at Salisbury National Cemetery. So that the deceased remains in an essentially refrigerated state, we respectfully request that the identification be for no more than 30 minutes from the time we agree to begin.
Jenny was a 1998 graduate of Port Byron Central School. She made North Carolina home for the last 20 years. As a fierce advocate for those in need, she was especially passionate about her time working. Mrs. Dollie Ludwick Shaver would like you to know she is currently dancing in heaven with the love of her life, her late husband, Robert Shaver.
Carolina Cremation takes the fear out of financing your loved one's cremation and service by accepting cash or credit, assignable insurance payments or PayPal Credit deposits. Once you have received the financing, please send the payment to matt@mycarolinacremation.com. We encourage you to complete this financing process prior to scheduling or finalizing cremation arrangements.

During each arrangement conference our funeral directors will be asking for the deceased's vital information. Once collected, this information will be used for the completion of the Death Certificate, notification to Social Security and claim forms for Veterans.
In order that our clients may have a high degree of confidence in the cremation process, we have developed this "Worry Free Cremation Process" that your family may take an active part in. Our "wrist identification band" is placed on your loved one at the time we come to your home, hospital or other care facility.

My mom passed a couple years ago and they met and exceeded our expectations. So kind, thoughtful, and respectful ... from the moment of the call to let them know she had passed to the service held at the crematory. I was very impressed with the service we had when my dad died.. Carolina Creamation were wonderful from the first phone call to the end of the memorial service. They called me before I could call them, they were very helpful and caring. To be honest We were going to use a local funeral home, but Changed our minds and glad we did. Thank you so much for taking care of my daddy.

I highly recommend this place. The night our father died was an extremely difficult time for myself and sister. They sent a fellow Vet who really reassured us with this process and made this difficult event more bearable. We were not rushed to say our goodbyes. When we were ready, they placed a flag head to toe over our father to roll him out. Very respectful.
The cremation office was just as professional, patient, and answered all of our questions. They placed our mothers ashes with our fathers so that we did not have to do this task. Gave us guidance in spreading his ashes.

From the first phone call to the final pickup of my mother's ashes, the care and respect we received were beyond the highest standards of any other funeral home we have dealt with over the years. We were treated with so much compassion. When they arrived to take Mama's body, they gave us as much time as we needed to say one more goodbye. My father was so concerned that they would be putting her in a body bag (this is what he dealt with in Viet Nam), so when he saw the love of his life in a quilted body covering, there was a sigh of relief. In the last three months our family has experienced the loss of three family members. The staff at Carolina Cremation were so kind and compassionate they truly made a difference it what has been a difficult time for us.
When my wife died at home and was removed for the final time in front of family members they allowed us to dress her and took her out of the house covered in a floral quilt, it looked like she was sleeping. They showed her the utmost respect and showed a genuine caring for the family present.
