The Guest House is designed with smaller, more intimate and private common areas. Offering a sunny porch, lovely front parlor, and cozy nooks for two on each floor, choose The Manor Guest House when you are hiding out purposefully from the world. Visit at The Manor during your stay if and when you please.
These extras are available for purchase on the online reservation as soon as you choose a room. You can also order any of these via email or text. A steamy hot full carafe (4+ cups) of Manor Blend coffee delivered on tiptoe just outside your door without knocking. Two slices of our luscious "BBC", Blueberry Breakfast Cake and some fresh fruit.
We are open year round. It is our pleasure to personally help you plan all the details of your stay with us. If you would like to research on your own, you'll find the resources you need at South Haven Visitor's Bureau. Innkeeper is available 24/7, 7 days a week. We live at the hotel. Yelton Manor is a beautiful B&B in South Haven Michigan and has been at “main and main” for decades. This Victorian Beauty is a step back in time It is steps to the beach and downtown and makes it possible to walk to see some of the most beautiful sunsets in America. Our only reservation is that, while the Innkeeper was gracious and friendly for breakfast, we could never reach anyone again. Phone calls were not picked up, although this is what the sign on the door instructed if we needed anything. I think Yelton Manor is, like most businesses, woefully understaffed. We suggest an answering

Our first experience staying in a B&B was better than we ever expected. The property is beautiful and the atmosphere is so relaxing. Everything that was advertised online and during our welcome tour was available during our stay such as beach towels, fresh fruit, and morning coffee. I also really loved the soft music playing in the house, what a great touch!
The location is perfect for a quick walk to the beach or over the bridge into town to shop. The staff and other guests we encountered around the house were very friendly. We will definitely stay at Yelton again during our next visit to Michigan

The location of the b & b is great. Across the street from a couple of small beaches and a the larger north beach is just a few more blocks. Close to downtown, but out of the traffic etc. The beds were nice and Victoria was a good host with good area information. I am not a big fan of b&b’s but we would stay again.

My husband and I spent two nights at Yelton Manor and had a wonderful time. This was our first visit to South Haven and we couldn't have been happier with this location and charming town. When we arrived, the innkeeper Victoria gave us a warm welcome and quickly showed us around the main house. She was attentive and available during our stay, always responding promptly to text messages if we needed something. She even went out of her way to rectify a situation where a bottle of our wine was drank by another guest mistakenly - she bought us another bottle immediately and kept it in her private refrigerator

Calm. Peaceful, relaxing and friendly. New owner Victoria strives to make people happy and comfortable here in the Yelton Manor. Fresh baked afternoon treats and to order fancy breakfast come immediately to mind. Add in the book selection, dishes of candy, DVD’s, spare reading glasses, and generally relaxing atmosphere and it all adds up to a calm harbor in a sea of turbulence in the world. I think my favorite breakfast was the French toast!

Our first stay at a traditional Bed & Breakfast, and it was a smashing success. The hosts were wonderful, the accommodations were immaculate, the food incredible and best of all just across the street from the beach. We truly enjoyed our 2 night stay to celebrate our anniversary.. Thank you for everything!
